Not that used EP but I don't think what you said is fair. This is the most caring site I've ever been on.

EP encouraged the long form of personal expression. I very much enjoyed and grew into that mode. However this site promotes the abbreviated form which lends itself to puns and jabs so that's what you see here. You just try EP's long form style and you'll receive next to no responses or at best 'tldr' replies.

I must admit that although yes I tend to go with those prevailing short form winds, I prefer the former style from time to time as it is my natural style. More to create and share. Oh well I guess you can't have everything.

It's not you, people don't seem o want to take the time to become absorbed in an idea for more than a few seconds. Attention spans have dropped over time. SW is just responding to that.

I prefer here than EP. Sure I miss the Old days when it first started but after creating an App. It went down hill and the environment from these App Users on EP or whatever they came from through the App is Fvcking Horrible.

I was afraid this will be the same result for here but I was mistaken. Through these new users it's not that bad I thought it would be. Sure you can see all these Butt Hurting Cat Fishes for Attention but nobody including myself don't even bother anymore.

We've been through a lot of BS from EP in the late years before it shuts down.

Lesson is learned.

Same here. But after an adjustment I've come to enjoy it here for what it is. After the EP shutdown debacle people were left with this distinct empty and lonesome sense that lingered forever. After a while that became stale and I refused to wallow in that, so I found this fun place. Different but like I said I learned to roll with the changes.

Personally I think its me that changed.

Back then in EP I wanted to have friends, even if they drop the conversation in the middle.

I have spoken to hundreds in EP.
Two of my BFFS are from EP. I had several of my EP Friends on my Skype / Facebook.

Right now, I have changed I stopped talking to people because I get depressed of getting ghosted.

In this mindset, even EP couldn't have helped me.

I miss EP as well. But things change. And seeing that a lot of people on here was also on EP it shouldn't be that much different. From what i see on EP people were willing to open up more than here but it could just be my imagination. I think alot more people troll now than before on the internet. I do miss this live chat page that used to be called Chat Machine lol. Oh how the internet has changed/evolved.

I'd probably miss it too if I'd have used it. Maybe sue to try and bring it back? But wait, it wouldn't be the same, only the name. Too many people grew up, died, or moved on.
