Why do people block you?

I got blocked over a fried chicken post. Go figure.

You’d have to ask them. But I know some don’t care for people who take pictures of their food. That’s me big time. There’s some who don't care for posts with a lot of words. Me also. And some are triggered by things like the truth they don’t like to be reminded of, someone who tries to see the light within the dark, and me getting along well with men in the comment sections that they have formed imaginary relationships with. Could simply be the fact that I use gifs instead of words in many comment sections. Who knows and honestly, who cares. It’s that far down the list of priorities in my life.

…they should block me if my presence disrupts their experience here that much. It’s hard to work on yourself. I get that. So if blocking me is seen as a bandaid for whatever wound they’re not ready to heal from, more power to them.

I got blocked once for giving someone an answer to a question they asked. I guess they didn't like what I had to say.

I think many have blocked me because there's people who try making me out to be a bad person. I've gotten hate from people without ever knowing where it even came from.

Lots of people will shut you out over the words of others. SW is kinda cliquey like that

Oh, some because I seem "popular" because people like me or my posts.. People get irritated no end by people who are just being themselves... Go figure.. But it's true.

And for a lot of random reasons by the looks of it too

People block at the drop of a hat - at a whim - no explanations, no reasons (other than what's they've conjured up in their own minds).

I have no idea. Probably because I'm too happy and they don't like it.

Probably because I said something they thought was awful. I can’t think of a reason anyone shouldn’t block me. If someone wants me off their feed and out of their sight, that’s okay.

I get blocked because I'm not what they think I am. I make it pretty clear on my profile though.

I'm outspoken on my values and principles 💁🏽‍♀ and my sense of humour is taken literally sometimes. Meh

i usually get blocked for no reason at all or if i disagree with them or because i blocked them first.

Either the person they’re talking to is being immature or rude

I probably get blocked because I'm unabashedly strange and a lot of people can't handle that. :)

I'm smarter and funnier and more clever than they are.

I'm incredibly honest and don't really care what anyone here thinks of me. As the saying goes "Other people's opinions of me is none of my business. 🤷🏾‍♀

It's easy enough not to intentionally harm others or myself and to just not be a dick in general and I'm checking those boxes. I'm happy and living the life I choose and want. If anyone finds a random reason to block me, they're welcome to it. We're probably better off not being acquainted. I'm very cool with that.

Once I was chewed out for being a fake troll. (Isn’t that redundant?) The guy who did the chewing PM’d me, a couple of years later, apologizing. “I misread you.”

I think they too judgmental and won't take the time to get to know me.

For myself: I hate blocking people, I rather learn about the different type of people then avoid them

I don't know if anyone has but if so let them go to it. The only way it would really effect me would be if I were actually friends with the person . I block certain people if I see evidence of them being creepy and disgusting .

Because some of them constantly text even when you make it very clear to them that you are not interested in having a conversation
