Changing the user name is not as nefarious as creating a new account, a sock puppet, to avoid the block and continue harassment. I just looked at my block list, all 34 of them. I do not recognize any of the names, either they have changed or I have forgotten them. It would be interesting if SW would tell us how many people have blocked me, just a count - no names.
I do a few times a year. Once I reach around 150, I set some free. If I remember why I blocked them ie for good reason they remain blocked. So many despicable people here. Old enemies. Some do change their names. Pitiful creatures. Small lives. Some people are so flawed. Have a good day, heart.
I might not even notice if they changed their name. My block list mainly contains annoying strangers who invaded my mailbox with spam/scam/catfish content. I really don't remember their names.
I haven't got one, I don't block. If I saw any harmful, or criminal stuff then I would block these users but as most of these type of fellows have blocked me I don't see their vomit inducing content.
I have been blocked too. I have changed my profile name because I wanted to. This doesn’t mean I will be able to bypass the profiles which have blocked me.
