I suspect the answer lies in either your or her settings, does she have all the adult and fetish content turned on?

Or might you have users who are her age group automatically blocked and not realise it?

Thats happened to me a few times. Its possible one of you has refused a request from them before, or one of you removed the other.
When its happened to me, i've messaged ( or my friend has messaged) SW and theyve sorted it. X

I had no probs opening her profile.

Maybe it is some kind of probationary restriction on new accounts.
Can she view other profiles? Have her try to view other peoples' profile just to make sure.

Shadowbanning, or as the admins call it, "reducing your audience", is a way of preventing people from seeing what you post without suspending you.

It's hard to tell what could be going on. The admins have added so many convoluted and hard to navigate settings and feed options it makes it really hard to ever tell what is going on with exposure and availabilty. Add to it the more uneccessarily complex and convoluted one designs a website and the more arbitrary settings that are added the much more likely there is to be glitches and bugs from it. It could be some lost and hard to find setting one of y'all have toggled, or it could just as likely be a bug from yhe admins asinine idea of having limited and currated exposure built into the site.
