Why can’t my friend see my account 😢

My friend Cassie and I can’t interact. She made a new account here. Every time I add her it won’t let me add her.

I can view her account but when she tries to view mine account she sees this.

But she has no one blocked.

When I comment on her posts she can’t see the comments but I can comment on them.

I sent her a gift and she unwrapped it and it looked like this. I also didn’t send it as private.

Does anyone have a clue why this is happening? I put in a ticket but I haven’t heard back and we are friends and want to interact. Has this happened to anyone else?

Shadowbanning, or as the admins call it, "reducing your audience", is a way of preventing people from seeing what you post without suspending you.

@iamonfire696 You gotta rule these things out though. Like I had a look on her posts and I can't see any of your comments on them but I can see the gift you sent them and obviously I can still see your profile and she can't. I don't know the specifics on shadow banning but it would be the same rules for everyone surely so you'd appear greyed out to everyone and like you say we wouldn't be able to send you a message or even reply to this post.

But you've also gotta think being able to answer post but not being seen you know there isn't really any user settings that would create a one way block situation like that either 'shadow blocking' lolz.😅 So yeah total mystery and it will probably just be a system glitch that's why it's making absolutely no sense.

@iamonfire696 The admins do read all of those emails. You might not get a reply, but you're more likely to get results.
