If American Football was taken serious outside the US, what country would be the best?

Id guess New Zealand ⚫️⚫️⚫️

The Americans would come up with another sport that only them would play, so that some foreigner couldn't beat their a$s, change my mind 🐣

@Elessar Lol ! I understand. 😆
“Handegg" ! That’s cold…🤣
@bijouxbroussard GO 49ers!!!!!!! Yaaayyyy :) but im sorry i gota go with dodgers baseball not the giants
It’ll never happen. It’s just rugby but with excessive safety gear and face paint.

@TheLustyLord So you're up for a game, then? Or are you chicken?
@LordShadowfire Sure, if you drop all the protective gear and face paint.

Ever wonder why every NFL game played in London sells out? 80,000 fans. It's not 80,000 Americans flying over there.

Except it's not football it's pass ball, or maybe hand ball would be a better name for it or throw ball.

Who cares so long as it’s taken seriously by Americans.

It is already, in Canada

Probably any country that plays rugby

There’s also Australian rules football which I believe is similar

It's taken SERIOUSLY in several countries, including England, where NFL are regularly played and sold out at Wembley Stadium.

Any country that plays rugby would be good.

American football is rugby played in hockey gear.
ChipmunkErnie · 70-79, M
Number One would be Canada, since Canadian football is pretty close to American Football.
Thevy29 · 41-45, M
Didn't they try that years ago and the American team had a very hard time keeping up.
TexChik · F
The brits and Mexico like it
bookerdana · M

My bets would be the aussies. AFL games go for roughly the same amount of time , but on a considerably larger field, with no division of offence, defence, and special players, (so a smaller team: 38 vs 53...ish?)
I think itd be even untill about half time, and then the aussies would overtake as they are used to using greater stamina.

I agree with the people who say any country that has a national rugby team would have a fair chance of beating us.
