Is it me or are people a whole lot more sensitive these days?

AlchemyFox · 36-40, F
I'd say more people are insensitive and those of us that care are pretty sick of it
Matt85 · 36-40, M
leave me alone 😢
speefw00f112 · 31-35, M
@Matt85 no u leave me alone!
NIC0LE · F
It just seems like the vast majority wants to live in this era of sensitivity which seems to be more crippling to said individuals than anything.

@RenFur Oooohhhhhh

@NIC0LE

LOL
Oooohhhhhh as in wow! Or Oooohhhhhh big deal, goof.
NIC0LE · F
@RenFur More like I just realized what your comment actually meant...🤦🏾‍♀️
I am generally sensitive but I'm trying to learn how to deal with those feelings better, for myself. It's easy to just let them all out and on others ,but it creates a never ending cycle of unwanted ,strong feelings and destruction. Being sensitive to the world around you can be good ,but also bad ,just as the opposite ,imo. It is about balance ,for your own and the greater wellbeing

Its easier to get offended than it is to take control of your life and build ones character.

It’s mostly the liberals that are.

No you are correct, at least in my opinion
that and insensitive
Camelia · F
To the extent that my family used to advise others not to break bad news to me because they knew how I couldn't handle it, I was and still am extremely sensitive. "Don't tell her" was the constant. My grandmother, in particular, has always protected me.
Look man, I’m pms-ing
smiler2012 · 56-60
@nicole on similar worlds that is the case certainly and you should respect that but there is also some real wallflowers who are sensitive over silly things that are mean as harmless but offence is still taken
NIC0LE · F
@smiler2012 it's not a matter if I have been respectful or not. I'm aware of the social environments I'm in. 🙂
Rolexeo · 26-30, M
Not really, people would always break up friendships and families over petty nonsense they can't get over. It just used to be phrased as "disrespected" or something like that instead of being offended.
DailyFlash · 56-60, M
I think social media had accelerated a lot of things. Stuff was not talked about for a long time is talked about now. Things can come out harshly online. It will change.
Iwillwait · M
Pretty sure food dye is making people different.
come2gether · 41-45, M
@Iwillwait This is simultaneously funny, and also a possibility. I've read some things on what some food dyes can do to people, so, funsightful comment
It’s not you. It’s the snowflake decade we’re living in
DownTheStreet · 51-55, M
It’s an election year in the USA, so it will only get worse
JimboSaturn · 51-55, M

Rambler · M

Elanor · F
Depends in what regard

Nobody likes a bull in a China shop

Being sensitive towards others feelings is considered a mark of respect

Being a snowflake is just comical

It’s not just black n white

Needs to be elaborated on
empanadas · 31-35, M
