Other than prescription medicines nothing really works.
I used to just set up and stay up doing this, that, or the other until my mind and body were ready to sleep.
Other than that, when you grow old, after you reach a certain age you'll fall asleep when you don't want to, not even thinking about it trying to stay awake.

Idk, I have no problems getting to sleep or sleeping.
They say to stay off of any electronic devices especially with backlit screens for at least an hour before bed.
Is your room dark and cool?

P.S. Watching tv sometimes can put you to sleep. Or maybe drink some chamomile tea.

Work out, hot shower, breathe through nose for 4 exhale out mouth for 5-6.

@Ghostinthemachine Nah, it was alright in hs for me. It was in college that I found it a real pain and effective for sleeping. Literally fell asleep in class. XD The prof was so bad.
