Somebody recommend a good book

I was quite surprised as i read this book about a lady who had seven husbands. it's not at all the first thought you get, when you hear or read the word "seven" in the title. it's a coming of age kind of story, nearly every chapter, my breathe is taken away by some thought or situation. this book would have me at the edge of my chair each time i opened it up. every time. it's a 9.5 out of 10 for me so far (haven't finished it yet). i love a story of hubris, especially when it's molded into humility and character

@basilfawlty89 I've never read the book. Is it good? My favorite book is Gerald's Game and i waited years for them to make a movie, when i saw it on Netflix i was soooo disappointed it did not give the book any justice.

@Mbingh01 ph Jack Nicolson is fine actor, one of the best. It's not him that's the issue. It was Kubrick.
I mean look what he did to Lolita for example. He made it into a comedy.
