The Shining.
It's a heartwarming story about a family spending the Christmas holiday together at a beautiful Colorado hotel in the mountains.

@basilfawlty89 I've never read the book. Is it good? My favorite book is Gerald's Game and i waited years for them to make a movie, when i saw it on Netflix i was soooo disappointed it did not give the book any justice.

@basilfawlty89 The Shining scared the crap out of me when I saw it years ago😱 Jack was awesome in this role.

@Mbingh01 ph Jack Nicolson is fine actor, one of the best. It's not him that's the issue. It was Kubrick.

I mean look what he did to Lolita for example. He made it into a comedy.
I cannot see anything comedic about a grown man infatuated with a 12 year old.
