Jas88 · 36-40, F
TheRealBarbossa · 36-40, T
I would, yeah

My wife took my surname, which was what everybody did back in the old days.
hunkalove · 70-79, M
Yes. Hunka Cyrus.
Blondily · F
Definetly changed my surname. Always hated my maiden name which started with an L. I hate writing L's in cursive.
I joined my name to hers.
MrsRachelEvans · 31-35, F
Of course I did.
eyeno · M
Its the womans choice though I prefer tradition.
My ex had a hyphen last name (her last name and mine). Thought it was pretty cool.

I changed my last name.
GoFish · 41-45, F
my last name not my 2nd name
I think I'm going to possibly just hyphenate it so I can keep mine and adopt his as well 🤷🏾
lissah · 36-40, F
Not my second name
class · F
Mine is too cool for that.
4meAndyou · F
Yes. My parents wanted me to become a hyphenated person, but I refused. That's VERY pretentious. I kept my married name.
Midlifemale · 61-69, M
My wife and every married woman in my family and friends did...they took their husbands last name. The common sense thing to do as a married couple.
Some married women keep their last name as a middle name.
ShenaniganFoodie · 41-45, M
NO

I like my Name

Creyvin Morehead
KerriJC · F
I did, then got divorced and just kept it.

I have a friend who said she'd never take a mans name. But her last name is also her fathers, so go figure
GerOttman · 70-79, M
I think couples should add each others names as a sign of unity. If they then ununite and reunite with another, they just add the new name.
SunshineGirl · 36-40, F
No, we are both professionals and our original names are an important part of our public identity. Our two adopted children also retain their original surnames. It is important not to erase history.
Neuman · M
no, that'd be fairly unexpected of me.
I wouldn't. It's not a thing culturally/religiously because we believe in preserving our lineage. I mean, regardless I could if I wanted to but I don't think I'd want to
hunkalove · 70-79, M
@HijabaDabbaDoo When you have a totally cool name like HijabaDabbaDoo why would you want to change it?
Donotfolowme · 51-55, F
Horok · 31-35, M
We don't that in our culture atleast for now.

I think it should be a personal choice.
Jenny1234 · 56-60, F
I only changed my name for immigration purposes. I wanted to keep my name.
Thevy29 · 41-45, M
Maybe, depends on the circumstances
