Seems fun but very far fetched in practical life where I live.
Hardly! I think that's cheating yourself. If somebody wants to be in a relationship with me and someone else at the same time, they must not be too interested in me. I don't play that game. Somebody tried it one time and I let them go real quick.
WintaTheAngle · 46-50, M
Absolutely not. If anyone touches my wife they’re going in the North Sea in four different bags.
PEACH4LIFE · 51-55, F
No. I'm not sharing anymore.

No. That's not a relationship to moi. If I just want to fulfill my lust and do that, I'll stay single and play the field.
AngelUnforgiven · 51-55, F
I have 2 daughters and i try to lead them by example. I have too much self respect and self worth to not be number one to the person who i give 100% of my everything to. If he wants that i wish him nothing but the best.
Adogslife · 61-69, M
No. I put a lot of effort into a relationship.
Two women = Too much
If you want to look, fine. If you want to touch, stay single.

Been there, done that. I wouldn't exclude it again, if it was meaningful and thought through.
Problems is finding the right people. It's a rare circumstance as is, requiring complete honesty.
That type of honesty is really hard to find in this society.
Just looking at the comments shows this.
Are you really honest, even with yourself, by criticizing something that you have never tried yourself?
I have at least tried it and found that it is possible, though rare.

Eeww, no! That's not a relationship at all, just two separate people using each other.

Tumbleweed · F
I'm single. Happily. And I'm more & more understanding the whole Sister Wife situation...
Tumbleweed · F
@Tastyfrzz Very true. I'm just really not good at living together. I'm not good at relationships period. I feel smothered & trapped very quickly. That's why I stay free, nobody gets hurt...
Tastyfrzz · 61-69, M
@Tumbleweed staying single is best but there are cases where someone has to get married.
Tumbleweed · F
@Tastyfrzz Yes. I agree.
4meAndyou · F
Open relationships are open to STD's and you would be totally unable to control that...so...NO thank you!!

SW-User
No. I get jealous too easily 😅
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
No. I'm monogamous.

I’m in open relationships but I don’t very often practice them. I’m not really interested in other people if I feel I’m in love. I only have eyes for them.
BigImo · 26-30, F
I've been able to see other people in every relationship I've ever had whether my partner liked it or not
FreeSpirit1 · 51-55, F
I'm not married and that's what I do
Ducky · 31-35, F

If a woman is not devoted to me she is not mine at all, and when I fall in love deep enough I lose interest in other women entirely

I personally couldn't do it; I enjoy being with just one person, but I don't criticize those who choose otherwise.
Not through choice.
I am loyal and faithful to the point where it becomes a problem for me in that I put up with abuse that I have no business putting up with.
Generally speaking, if I start to look outside of my relationship, it's because I feel like I've already tried everything that I can think of to keep things going and I've been met by brick wall after brick wall... or I feel safest with someone else that I have gravitated towards.

We had a semi-open relationship for a few years, and it worked fine.
Then it's not a relationship.... Dud...

I was in one but the Ex wife never knew about it
Beautywithin · 36-40, F
No what is the point of that. May aswell stay single.
CountScrofula · 46-50, M
Not in the one I have. Our relationship is monogamous and trying to open a monogamous relationship almost always destroys it.
Relationships which start as open relationships or poly relationships can work out but that needs to be baked into its foundations at the start.

Only if everyone else is doing it and it's normal.
Otherwise it's bound to become cruel and antisocial to make exceptions to the norm for yourself.

I would consider it but some ground rules and communication would be very important.
But at this point that is all theoretical for me.

I can see other people by just turning my head. No need to be in any relationship whatsoever.
