I think that would be better than loneliness. Enemies can be dealt with, but friends are hard to find without this skill, let alone love interests. So I'll take the mix over nobody.

May enjoy the initial adrenaline rush from it, but the claustrophobia and expectations would kill a lot of the joy of being that kind of flame to the moths.

I think I would like it for a change. I’ve never been in a relationship before, and I believe in the philosophy of “nothing ventured, nothing gained”. I’ve never had many choices, none that appealed to me very much, and a relationship is something I’d really like to experience before I die. Preferably before I get old and wrinkly and lose most of my hair.

I don't have a choice. My family makes fun of me because random strangers just come up to me and just start talking to me! I have made some great friends because of it and I think that it is worth it.

It's more good than bad. Having a lot of people attracted to me for different reasons puts demands on me. My wife had the problem when young of attracting too many good and bad men who wanted more than friendship. Now they know she just enjoys lots of friends.

In the beginning, it feels good. Later on, you want your inner groups to be smaller and more exclusive. After that, you simply want to be with yourself. It is not seeking loneliness, but rather looking for more meaningful interactions.
