I love to watch my wife having sex with my friends and strangers. We are almost 13 years married, and it's very excited to have Polyamory and open relationships
chick95 · 26-30, F
@in10RjFox it is. And the way it practically punishes you for being married. I qualified for no college aid once I married cause my man was supposed to provide enough for me 🤮
chick95 · 26-30, F
@in10RjFox I feel like this individual though does fall under a kink rather than open or poly for sure

I don't have an issue with it and I am sure there has to be some people out there for whom it works out and that is great.

However, the people I have met in person who flocked to that (with one exception) were people who were fleeing very toxic monogamous relationships and had frankly scary ideas about relationship dynamics in general and ended up just reproducing their toxic relationships but just adding more people to the chaos and drama.
chick95 · 26-30, F
@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow I 100% have seen what you are talking about about before. Its unfortunate but true. We've been happily togeather for a long time and it works for us
@chick95 That is great. I am glad it works for you.
BigImo · 22-25, F
It really should be the norm tbh. Monogamy is a very outdated concept. I was raised by a poly quintuple and they're the best parents I could've ever asked for and the best people I know. I'm surprised more people aren't in poly relationships these days simply for financial reasons 😂
ViciDraco · 36-40, M
@BigImo I'm not going to try to tell people what The Norm should be, but definitely feel that polyamory should be more normalized than it is.
DearAmbellina2113 · 41-45, F
I've been in a poly relationship. It was nice until time management became an issue and certain members of the quad were getting more attention than others. I can't see it going any other way, honestly.
BigImo · 22-25, F
@DearAmbellina2113 it can work if you do it properly. My parents have been in a poly relationship for over 20 years now and they're still going strong
chick95 · 26-30, F
@BigImo that's amazing
BigImo · 22-25, F
@chick95 they're my heroes 🥰
My ex wife is into polyandrous relationships. I have no ill will towards her, just wish her the best and move on. I have never been in one myself but I do find it interesting
chick95 · 26-30, F
@mindlessdrifter it's not for everyone and that is ok
do you watch each other having sex,
chick95 · 26-30, F
@jackrabbit10 for some people it is. For others it's not.
Patriot96 · 56-60, C
@jackrabbit10 yes we do. She is amazing
@chick95 @chick95 yell we cant like every thing ,
ShadowSister · 46-50, F
I'm not seeing anyone at the moment, and not particularly interested in changing that. But if I was, I'm pretty sure I would be polyamorous. I have only extremes.
chick95 · 26-30, F
@ShadowSister me too
smileylovesgaming · 31-35, F

smileylovesgaming · 31-35, F

chick95 · 26-30, F
@smileylovesgaming that's awesome
Manprab · 36-40, M
I agree with you and open relationships is best when you are forced to stick to your marriage life. However, if you find a right partner who goes above and beyond there is no necessity for another person.

If you find a correct partner, I am sure it’s hard to spend quality time with another person.
@Manprab I am glad my country is developed then. Still I got involved too young and with someone with a lot of red flags. I stayed far too long. Unhappily. I divorced in my early fifties. I still believe in true love and I still search for mine.
Manprab · 36-40, M
@PoetryNEmotion Good luck with your search.
chick95 · 26-30, F
@Manprab Id argue if you find someone so perfect why would you not want to share their light?
tamilguy · M
That's great you have such a mutual relationship.Good as long as it works for people.
RedBaron · M
You should find these people and ask them.

Personally, I don’t care what you do.
mainvane · 61-69, M
I'm with you...have been in two thruples and group relations over the years
I don’t think it is far fetched and it’s great if you can navigate that kind of relationship. It just seems most people have difficulty with jealousy not getting in the way of a relationship like that but it sounds like it is working for you so that’s all that matters.
chick95 · 26-30, F
@avidrunner2 its definitely not for everyone
WintaTheAngle · 41-45, M
In my social circle it is nonexistent. It seems to exist entirely online. And I suspect in certain cases it’s people lying in an attempt to appear interesting.
WintaTheAngle · 41-45, M
@chick95 Where is “here”?
chick95 · 26-30, F
@WintaTheAngle in he sothern state I live in. Sorry I don't disclose my location
WintaTheAngle · 41-45, M
@chick95 a different culture I suppose.

Hi Rosie, genuine question from me as it is not a subject I know a lot about. How do you deal with the inevitable, or is it inevitable, issues of jealousy? What if partner a) suspects that partner b) is having more of your time and emotion etc….is that a thing in this lifestyle? Just wondering!
It gets complicated. Involve more than one partner. Involve children. Who is the mother? Who is the father? Combined incomes. Homes shared. As you become older, you likely will find them less desirable on the whole.
in10RjFox · M
Can't get your question ! Are you asking why most don't prefer polyamory or open relationship?
chick95 · 26-30, F
@in10RjFox why is is judged so heavily is what I'm asking
in10RjFox · M
@chick95 The oldies who were imposed with monogamy are the one's judging because they have assumed as if they own the world, and future is their offspring and in their mercy. But truly, they are jealous by the way things trend. They just scorn those enjoying life, because they did not get it during their prime.
chick95 · 26-30, F
@in10RjFox hands down best response
I personally don't have a issue with it. Long as both parties consent and are respectful to eachother, what's the harm?
chick95 · 26-30, F
@GohantheThird consent, communicate, trust, care
We live by those rules
Busybee333 · 31-35, F
I will say it as I feel it. I can like many; I can love only one.
Nothing wrong with others having their own preferences :)
eMortal · M
I envy that level of detachment lol.
I’d go insane if someone was making my girlfriend moan in front of me.
Northwest · M
some couples operate well in these types of relationships?
Isn't polyamory, by definition, not a "couple" relationship?
chick95 · 26-30, F
@Northwest well yes. Triads, quads, anything else
ViciDraco · 36-40, M
There's a few of us poly folk around here. You'll get more acceptance here. Though awareness can still be pretty low. Plenty of the types that think you can't love more than one person at a time will leave us feeling the collateral damage as they verbally bombard people for cheating or hypergamy.
chick95 · 26-30, F
@jackrabbit10 I'm sorry I don't offer up my location. I've been stalked before
@chick95 sorry I didn't ask for your mailing add, the part I ask for was north east or south,
chick95 · 26-30, F
@jackrabbit10 @jackrabbit10 you offered the state so I assumed you wanted the same. As I said I'm in the south
Patriot96 · 56-60, C

@jshm2 I'm sorry that you've not seen any happy poly couples or open relationships. we have happy healthy children and have been together for 12 years.... My parents support me and my partners. I'm in a community of others like us that have also been together for many years.
