Polyamory and open relationships

I know it's not the social norm but why is it so far fetched to people that some couples operate well in these types of relationships? I've been both open and poly for years and we love each other and are committed to each other just the same.....

I've been in a poly relationship. It was nice until time management became an issue and certain members of the quad were getting more attention than others. I can't see it going any other way, honestly.

@DearAmbellina2113 I've been in the relationship for years and it's gone well. It really depends on how each group works. Time management is freaking hard but can be achieved
