This is a conundrum I ponder daily Bexy my dear but we need to look at this from both sides....A fork is very good at picking up things like steak or other types of things like that but can you make your face look funny in the reflection of a fork? I think not...I think spoons should be proud.
@AndysAttic stand proud spoons!

I want a spoon with a sharp edge so you can skewer anything with it. Just be careful while you're eating soup.
Hinckley ·
A spoon can dig you out of a jam, whereas jam falls through a fork. Try to eat soup with a fork, and you'll see who the winner is!

I like to spoon until it is time to fork. 😂

I'm a fork, and I feel superior as long as there's no soup around.

@LordBarbossa no I haven't. Will have to look up a recipe
LordBarbossa · 36-40, T
@Bexsy I can give it to you right now:
Diced rhubarb (one handfull per person)
Just enough water to cover the rhubarb
Boil until rhubarb dissolves then add sugar by taste. Cinnamon is optional.
When soup is done, add a bit of corn starch mixed with cold water for texture.
That's it.

@LordBarbossa oh wow, can't get any easier than that

I think those “low tech” utensils are all intimidated by the “high tech” straw that is more efficient at delivering nutrition quickly

@Bexsy there’s a time and a place for everything. I think that’s from the Bible
And then there's these...

Yeah - But go in the kitchen, and open that drawer.
Go ahead. Pick one out -

@Bexsy 🤔a bit out of the box but how would you make a plate sound good if it where a musical instrument .😆you would use a spoon and fork
Captainjackass · 31-35, M
How do you think sporks feel? They are the unwanted child of both.
@Captainjackass valid point
Captainjackass · 31-35, M
@Bexsy honestly I hate them. They’re only used in jail because they can’t be used as a weapon.
Guardian ·
And knives can cut you apart. Don't forget sporks!
JohnnySpot · 56-60, M
Most spoons tend to be more of lovers than fighters.
TrunkZ · 56-60, M
The Swiss figured out this conundrum a long time ago... In various different colors too

Steak knives rule. Forks and spoons know it.
@DownTheStreet they sure do get their point across
DownTheStreet · 56-60, M
@Bexsy they cut right to it
All utensils are inferior to the almighty…

True. You can also stick a spoon to your chin
goliathtree · 56-60, M
would you quit forking around?
@goliathtree I don't know how
goliathtree · 56-60, M
@Bexsy you realize that spooning often leads to forking.
A fork is really just a spoon with bits missing.
@NudasPriest leave it you to spoon up some wisdom
