Why are people so rude?

My cousin and me were trying to make some money dancing on the street in Edinburgh. Despite the fact we had left out a bucket to collect coins a lot of people threw their money on the ground that we had to pick up in between dances

Update: so if all of your jobs threw your salary at you in coins you would be ok with it?

Are you serious!? Aw you poor darling, having to pick up money people have been kind enough to give you must be such hard work.

I guess you are so ignorant you are unaware not every single person on the planet has a good enough aim to hit your bucket!?

People like you put off other people from being kind, try and be less of an arse.

@AntisocialTroll 👏👍👌

Wow! Complaining because people give you money?? How entitled. And I won't start on your spelling........🙄
BritishPerson · 41-45, M
@Fluffybull Just one spelling mistake to be fair.
Fluffybull · F
@BritishPerson There's also the bad grammar 🙄

They're Scousers, goes with the territory.

@Nimbus 😆lol think you need to have a look at the map of the united kingdom nimbus the is a lot of geographical miles difference

it is not rude,, if they ARE paying you.
"Rude" in this circumstance might be ignoring you altogether, although no stranger is obligated to donate to buskers. The fact is, you’re performing to earn money—and you’re being paid. Having to sometimes stop & pick it up is surely a minor inconvenience in the big picture.
Fluffybull · F
@bijouxbroussard Yep. Anyone so thin-skinned shouldn't be busking at all.
deadgerbil · 26-30
They gave you money and didn't make it in the bucket

Maybe they should throw their coins at you instead
SubstantialKick · 36-40, M
Maybe they just missed the bucket?
Lilnonames · F
@SubstantialKick at least they not kick the bucket

Imagine if there was a system where people down on their luck could go and take a battery of aptitude tests and be given a corresponding job, either with the government or in the private sector. Would that be acceptable or would you still dance in the streets for coins?
Rilyn · 31-35, F
Because they live a sad life.....
Iwantyourhotwife · 22-25
You do this in a big city? Cuz I've seen this stuff only in big cities where people wanna act precious

They'll even try gaslighting you into not even receiving basic human respect cuz they look down on you as someone who deserves to scrape money off the floor

No, I would not but as you know in my careers, I had fist feet knives bullets and bobs thrown at me instead. I think I could handle the rudeness you took.
Zeusdelight · 61-69, M
Ok, you may have been upset at that, but would you have preferred them not to give you money?
nedkelly · 61-69, M
I bet you picked up no money if the scousers were around, they would steal anything
TexChik · F
So you can buy that new Iphone? 🙄. Stop trying to grift us and get a job.
FloorGenAdm · 51-55, M
Use a clear bucket they'll get it in to admire their contribution. 🧫🤾🏼
