I Have a Question

Do you think going to the gym 2 hours once a week and walking at least 30 mins every day plus doing house work all week is enough exercise to start with do you think emough to lose a little weight with eating right foods i am starting diet Monday as I am fed up with my weight affecting me.

Exercise is great for getting yourself fit but has little to do with weght loss. You'd be surprised how few calories you burn doing exercise. Weight loss is about reducing your calorie intake. Don't go on a diet because when you end your diet you will put every pound back on and then some, change your lifestyle. Make your lower calorie routine sustainable and keep doing it for good.

I am going with my mum we are going on diet together and going gym together so I feel more comfortable soon as i have lost that little bit then do that bit more i just don't think I can handle to much exercise all at once to be honest i am gonna stick with it this time.

Then start slower...15 minutes of walking 2 times a day. Building up to 30. Dieting with someone is easier
The most important thing is to eat really healthy. I had the best results when I was counting my macros and making sure to eat most of my carbs in the morning, protein for lunch and mostly veggies for dinner. Lots of nuts for snacks. I lost fifteen pounds in a few weeks and wasn't hungry at all. All I did was some yoga, floor exercises and free weights at home throughout the day when I got the chance. I saw significant changes within those few weeks.

My two cents? Setting things in stone like "I must work out 2 hours a day" is a great way to fail on an exercise program. It's not how long you work out but how efficiently and consistently you work out. You can get way more benefit from a circuit training workout that takes 20 minutes than a 2 hour workout where you aren't really working.
Do whatever is sustainable and you enjoy. Don't get caught up in fads and a number on the scale. Get caught up in doing something active that you enjoy. I have lots of sex for my cardio. Ha ha, just playin. Start today, don't wait and make the mistake of binge eating because the date is approaching.

Hi rest...here's a way to lose weight without going to the gym. If you have a treadmill walk 30 minutes in the morning and 30 at night. Then eat fish...chix...salads and fruit. No soda...water coffee of crystal light. My wife did this for 6 months and went form size 22 to 18.

Good amount of exercise but the important thing is eating less.

Which sucks because hunger pains are the worst, and food is awesome

Make it 6 hrs 3 days a week.Walk in the morning in empty stomach for 30 minutes.

All you really need is a treadmill....you might find a used one for sale on line

Unfortunately I don't have a treadmill once we clean out back room got more space thinking about saving up to by exercise equipment. And thanks for tips ptc dresser and everyone to.
