I side with the people who are correct.

Right is right, I'd side with the person who is correct and try to get the other person to understand.

If it was a nothing burger I'd walk away and let you sort it out. Serious or important and I'd support you.

I side with the one that's correct. Unless my mom is involved, in which case I side with her. She's terrifying.

I side with the person whose correct. Which is why I probably don't have many friends.

In the moment , I would tend to calmly observe and take in the facts then, once they had calmed down, and we were alone, I'd list the facts and sometimes that would be enough to help them see what the right thing to do was. If they need me to point out what the right thing is, I would do that but I wouldn't humiliate them in front of the other person.

Let me put it this way.
You're arguing with someone.
They're right.
Your husband comes in and sides with them.
How do you react/feel?

I always side with the right to the best of my knowledge …no matter who it is.

Mostly walk away... Most or many people don't want to listen to opposing view points... It's a losing game

I would never take sides against family or friends for a stranger
Later alone id tell him he was an idiot, but never in front of an outsider

I don't get involved. That's because MOST of the people around me are my neighbors. And SOME of them are mental cases. If THEY are arguing...RUN!!!! 🤣🤣🤣
