What is your favorite way to have potatoes? Favorite potato dishes?

That’s like asking a woman with a lot of children who their favorite child is. 😂. Mashed potatoes remind me of our fried chicken dinners on the farm, and I still love them. I use the leftovers to make potato waffles. Love them baked, oven-fried, scalloped, in a variety of potato salads, lemon-potato bread, potatoes with cilantro and garlic and olive oil, cream of potato soup, hash browns, and in stew.

So uou can cube them, put them in a bowl toss with oil and your favourite seasonings or herbs and spices and air fry them, they're yummy😋

Shred them, spread the shredded potatoes out on a cookie sheet and freeze them on the sheet. Once frozen, slide them into a ziploc bag and you have hashbrowns ready for frying that will keep for months in the freezer.

I prefer to befriend them.

My mom used to shred them, fry them with shredded cabbage and then fry hamburger separately and add that to the potatoes & cabbage.

I love them all.

But if you have a huge bag, it seems to me that the kind I can easily shovel down in bulk quantities are hash browns!

Greek marinade... Peel potatoes. Dice in whatever preferred size. Absolutely slather and soak in olive oil and lemon juice, salt and oregano. Bake 💣 🔥 🤤

All of the above I guess ... french fried, baked, sliced thin and pan fried, hash brown, potato skins, potato pancakes, latke, twice baked, I have even been known to slice them sprinkle a little salt and eat them raw.

Please don't discuss their fate in front of them... and please keep the bag tightly sealed to prevent escape. From experience, it is less than pleasant to wake up to find the bag open and this happening. ..
