What is SW to you?

Fun, eacape....my personal mental dump space, share some of what ive learned and learn more.
To objectively look at myself and hopefully improve .
Practice being outspoken ....but carefully, instead of unflitered.

Originally it was escape....then anger dumping and raging ....but it was a good place to release.
And although this place can be unhealthy and addictive....its been good to me.

Its helped me calm myself, smooth my jagged edges that life gave me.

But most of all - it gives me perspective.
....and i didn't expect that .

I get to see people. Their weirdness, their brokenss, their arrogance and snobbery, their ignorance and genius....and individuality and duality .
.... and blindspots.

Which is hopefully helping me see mine.

It's like my second home man and this is my room.

A place to be real with and without a shield and just be without people's expectations and impressions of you.

A way to connect with people and keep my brain from growing mold.

Honestly I actually came here for some of the most sincere reasons possible. To reach out to make genuine friendships if possible and maybe even connection.

There are a few decent people here for sure don't get me wrong. But my purpose is changing as time goes by because I'm finding out that most people are here to kill time, f*** around, live out alter egos that they have no intention of ever carrying through with and real life. Add to their collection. Or just be on some other b******* entirely.

So now I just come here to express myself post updates and hang the f******out. If I am lucky enough to meet genuine people who want to connect with me by all means my door is always open. But as far as the people who only hang around cuz they have nothing else to do. Neither do I

I’m an extrovert by day and introvert by night. SW gives me a chance to keep my mind stimulated without being “on stage”.

In life you tend to choose the friends and work companions you hang out with. Their breadth might be more narrow. Here, you get a wide range of fun intelligent people that you wouldn’t normally have the opportunity meet. I like that the best. The more perspectives, the more you learn.

I’ve also got a few people that I like as friends. I come on to see what they’ve posted so that I can respond out of respect and/or caring.

There are some really great people here.

very little. if I'm honest about it, I don't know why I bother with it anymore.
I don't 'invest' much here, but I feel like I get pretty much nothing out of it

It allows me to post what my thoughts are plus check on posts which I can relate to plus interacting with people who take their time and energy to invest in me.
