Personally, I believe it is very probable that I won't die at all. I believe what the Bible says about the Rapture and I make no bones about it. It's not "if" it will happen, it's "when" it will happen. God keeps His promises. He is incapable of lying. Whether people believe it or not, God shall fulfill His Word of prophecy, as He has all past prophecies.
Ministers today, are forewarning of the rapture. 1 Thessalonians 4:13–18and1 Corinthians 15:50–54. Noah warned people of the flood and to repent, but they all laughed and mocked him, making fun of him because there had never before, been any rainfall...only a mist on the ground. Noah warned them for over 100 years, to repent of their sins, but they refused to listen, just like today. "God looked on the earth, and behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted their way upon the earth” (Genesis 6:11–12), refusing to stop their evil ways.
The long time (possibly even 120 years; (according to Genesis 6:3) it took for Noah and his family to build the ark, naturally afforded him the opportunity to share with those around him the reason for the ark’s construction. The ungodly of Noah’s day, had a chance to repent and be saved, as Christ preached to them spiritually, through Noah. Unfortunately, they rebelled against the truth, just like today, and refused the ark, and drowned inthe flood. God will not be mocked. Those who think themselves to be gods, and insist they don't need salvation or Jesus, do not understand that even if man could get to heaven by his own efforts, he still would not be able to enter heaven, because it is a purely sinless, Holy place. We cannot drag our sins into heaven. But if...by your own choice... you refuse Jesus' free offer to save you from the condemnation SIN brings on all, He shall honor your decision. It will break His heart, but He will do as you say. All Jesus wants to do, is save all of us. None have to miss heaven. Not one.
The way God told us to do that, is to invite Jesus into your heart and life as your personal Savior, who will then in turn, forgive you of all your sins, making you fit for heaven. The man makes claims to know how to do that, he certainly fall short. Only one who has been in the spiritual world and knows exactly what it takes to be saved, can guide you to the truth. There's no one else, better to trust to get you safely to heaven, than Jesus.

How I want to die is to go to sleep one night after having a lovely day and then just not wake up.
I imagine I'll probably be suffering in some hospital room somewhere until blessed, blessed death comes for me.

I stopped contemplating it long ago. I was lying in a hospital bed in a medically induced coma after a bypass surgery when it came to me that I could just let go and this would all be over. I was ready!
Then the thought came to me. Are my wife, kids and grandchildren ready? That was 10 years, three heart attacks and several strokes ago. I have continued to fight for them. I think it come when when its time, period!

MiserableAtBest · 22-25, F
I’ve overdosed a couple of times, and I guess I’ve always assumed that’s how my life will come to an end at some point or another.
Popsicko · 26-30, F
@MiserableAtBest felt that

I’ve thought about it a lot, and even sinc I was a kid I’ve always predicted that my life would end in violence, whether it’s by my own hands or someone else’s, I don’t know.
CdDeanna · 56-60, M
Doesn’t matter to me, as long as I open my eyes in heaven, to hear “well done, good and faithful servant..”
gibty · 22-25, F

I probably have a genetic heart condition and I won’t really know how bad that will be until I’m older. Maybe something to do with that. But who knows 👀 it could be anything. Maybe it’ll be heroic 💪 or maybe it’ll be an idiot reckless move that people will make jokes about
JimboSaturn · 51-55, M
Heart attack/stroke
SinlessOnslaught · 26-30, M
When you go to sleep
Elevatorpitches · F
No its selfish and pointless, of course I don't wanna involve strangers. But I think compared to the stuff Chris Hedges says, its no big deal.
SageWanderer · 70-79, M
FrozenWasteland · 61-69, M
I don't really think about it much. The when and the how of it are none of my business -- or at least are largely out of my control.
SW-User
Why think about something thats completely out of my hands. When my time comes it comes.
iamnikki · 31-35, F
@SW-User it's not completely out of our hands.
One can choose to bungee jump, skydive etc and fall to their death. They can choose to drive wrecklessly and die in a crash

SW-User
An awful lot. I used to think I'd probably die from an OD.
As it is now, I would bet that it'll be a heart attack or something like that.
