Pasta algio e olio. Inexpensive and easy to make. My mom used to make it for us growing up when money was tight.
Khenpal1 · M

@dragonfly46 a meal that leaves leftovers I’m sure
Ramen noodles with egg.
MommaBear · 26-30, F
@MsSwan soft boiled? I’ve heard of people adding soft boiled egg into ramen with other things
@MommaBear for sure! Crack an egg in ramen and it’ll cook while it simmers. Add whatever kind of leftover meat, Cole slaw mix, sesame seeds, etc. Yum!
@MommaBear No, just crack it open into the soup while it's cooking and swirl it with a fork so it shreds.

I watched a guy on YouTube once create a meal for under $5.
He managed to cook up a pretty tasty meal off of some vegetables and some beans he picked up at a grocery outlet store.

Pasta is cheap.
Neoerectus · M
Beans and rice or pasta with lettuce (oil/vinegar with salt as dressing if in cupboard)
Neoerectus · M
@Neoerectus Tacos might work, but it'd take some stuff already around.
TheRealBarbossa · 36-40, T
A bag of mixed veggies boiled with sliced up sausages then add some mashed potatoes for texture.

I make that regularly for myself, and have enough for 3-4 days (I'm the only human resident in this house)
MommaBear · 26-30, F
@TheRealBarbossa I’ve heard of people frying potatoes and kielbasa sausages together
DunningKruger · 61-69, M

Birdbox1986 · 31-35, F
