Yes. I use it regularly when eating Asian food - from noodles to fried rice.

If you really want to learn it, you should practice it at home while you have all the time to eat slowly.
It’s more difficult to practice when seated at a restaurant. 😊

Yes I can. 🙂👍 🥢

Yes, very good. I use them for every kind of food. Not just Asian food

I am. I've had a lot of practice.

I can manage.
Softandsweet2 · 36-40, F
If I try to eat with chopsticks, I better get close to the table. Food will end up in unintended places.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@Softandsweet2 it takes a little practice, and you can get the waiter to make them more user friendly with a rubber band and a filler paper.
bijouxbroussard · F
Yes. Growing up in San Francisco it was a badge of honor to be able to use them without being laughed at while eating in Chinatown and JapanTown.
SilverF0x · 51-55, M
I’m going to Japan in few weeks. Have been working on my skills but still suck at it. I gotta up my game pronto
FreeSpirit1 · 51-55, F
I learned but prefer the fork...lol

Random kid to me in restaurant: how can you do this with your left hand?
Got all the training I needed watching Karate Kid.

Holden · 31-35, M
Yeah, but it takes practice. Practice grabbing random objects with them before your food arrives. That's how I taught some friends to use chopsticks.
fun4us2b · M
Yes, I managed them perfectly at a business luncheon yesterday, but then this morning using a spoon spilled a big glob of oatmeal on myself 😅🤷
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
i do sometimes wonder why the pieces of sushi are so big. Often really too big to put into your mouth whole.
4thdimensiondream · 70-79, M
I can’t do it. I watch my daughter using and I’m like she didn’t get that from me. I can’t play drums either!
Kiesel · 56-60, M
Absolutely not….
I’ve never been able to perfect it!

Degbeme · 70-79, M
Just use one to stab your food. That`s what I do. 😬
Softy1 · M
I can’t use them efficiently
Adroneandastrain · 46-50, MNew
Me too .....:) Thankfully i've not had many chances for being humiliated from this handicap in my uneventful life.
TrunkZ · 61-69, M
Depends on the day. Some days I can pick up single grains of rice and other days I have trouble with even the larger things
I have to work really hard at it and usually just give up and grab the fork. 😅
hunkalove · 70-79, M
I can do it but I'd rather not. I prefer to pay attention to what I'm eating than to what I'm eating it with.
Ferric67 · M
I like using chopsticks, it makes me feel as if I’m playing with my food
SpectralMourning · 46-50, M
No good, but I can manage well enough to pick the stuff up. It just looks klutzy when I'm doing it.
Nope, they never listen to my fingers 😒
WormMan · 56-60, M
Not at all 🍜
RebelRaven · 51-55, F
