If you were one of the 6 people picked to help carry a coffin and roll it out for a funeral would you have the nerves to handle it?

I was a pallbearer back when I was in my 30's. Yes, I had the nerve and I handled it.

Sure, I have been a pallbearer. I have also served on the honor guard for fallen soldiers. It is an honor to be chosen and an honor earned by the fallen.

I've been a Paul bearer 6, 7? Times now? Only thing I'm worried about is tripping over my feet. I just match the steps of the person in front.

I've done it about 10 times now .. including all four of my grandparents.

I don`t know if I`d be able to do it. Too many health issues.

Nerves, yes -- but these days strength in my legs might be a problem.

They wouldn't pick me.
But if they did, I'd have the nerves but not the muscle.
theres normally no shortage of volunteers..
They wouldn't pick me anyway...
