Dishwasher or hand washing ?

I don't think I'll ever get a dishwasher cause don't you have to rinse the dishes first, then you have load and unload the bloody thing, what a hassle.

Hand. No automatic dishwasher here.

Handwash. Simple. Efficient. Easy.Therapeutic.

Obviously with a large family, a dishwasher might be sensible, but a bowl of water once or twice a day does the job almost as fast as all the prep for a loaded dishwasher. Besides, how do the kids learn to do simple jobs if they have everything done for them by technology?

I have a dishwasher, I find it to be quite a luxury.

Definitely dishwasher - it's a lot like the laundry though... the clean dishes sit in there until I run out of dishes 😁

Hand washing it does a better job 🧙‍♂️

I grew up with one, and had one installed in all of my homes if they didn't have one. THIS is my first semi permanent home without one, and I hate it. I really hate washing dishes...a LOT...because I get SO MANY OF THEM DIRTY when I cook.

I never had a dishwasher but if it's true that it uses really hot water then I think it's more sanitary.

Hand wash. I do not have a dishwasher in my apartment.

Our current place doesn't have a dishwasher but a lot of our friends freak out when we invite people over and they recoil that we don't have one. City folks. 8-)

One place we rented had one but it was such a pain to remember to use it.

Once I'd heard the definition of the Latin [i]sine qua non[/i] I immediately thought of my dishwasher. Now that's its nickname. It never talks back since it doesn't speak Latin.

By hand. Just rinse them as we go along. Wash bulky stuff right away. I used to hate it but its not bad if you keep it under control

We never had a dishwasher always hand wash. My wife sys she never wants one.

The dishwasher got a workout for the first time in 2 years on Christmas day. Normally its just the two of us. And I do most of the cooking as a one pot specialist.😷

Always dishwasher. Much easier, faster, uses less water and way more hygienic. Life is too short not to have a dishwasher.

I hand wash mostly and use dishwasher when I’ve had a crowd over and have more than usual dishes to wash.
