See that’s another horrible thing about Trump. You guys like to say he’s so much “tougher” and more “manly” than Biden, but Trump’s a damn coward. Instead of doing the job himself or at least taking responsibility for sicking his cult on the Capitol, he tries to pretend like he had nothing to do with it. The January 6 storming of the Capitol was part of a scheme to overturn the election results that was planned for at least two months on right wing websites. They’ve found communications about it between members of Trump’s inner circle too. And that slick bastard was careful, of course not to explicitly say, “Go storm the Capitol and overthrow the government,” so that cult members like you could defend him.
He had been repeating before the election that voter fraud would swing the election in Biden’s favor, but of course he didn’t do anything to try to prevent that from happening because he knew it was bullshit. Then after the election he repeated the baseless and widely debunked claim that Biden only won because of voter fraud, and he told his crowd on January 6 that we were going to lose our country unless we fight like hell.
So, if Trump didn’t want that crowd to storm the Capitol, why didn’t he try to stop them? Why did he wait hours to call the National Guard and then did so only after his daughter whom he wants to fuck begged him to do it? Why did he go back to the White House and watch the insurrection on TV?
And if he did want them to storm the Capitol, then why doesn’t he fucking admit it like a real man? Nope, he just lets his cult members do his dirty work and then they take the blame, they do the prison time. If you guys had even an ounce of self-respect among you, you’d realize that not only does Trump not give a shit about you, he’s disgusted by you. He uses you, he thinks you are beneath him. He thinks the law doesn’t apply to him, following laws or going to prison is for peons, for “losers” like his cult members that stormed the Capitol that day. He is a smug, elitist snob if one ever lived. He is the epitome of what you guys claim to hate.
Total devotion to a Cult is a poor measurement of what Americans believe. So far Trump has lost the popular vote twice by large margins, by 2.8 million and 7.2 million votes, respectively. Should he become the nominee in 2024, he will lose by even more next time. Americans oppose Trump, and rightfully so.

I like the way you people in the Trump camp throw around the word 'indisputable'. A few weeks ago, Trump had a news conference scheduled to show the 'indisputable' evidence that the election was stolen from him. We are still waiting.
@Carissimi I agree they over do it with Trump but I think they have reason. While the system has corruption in it, I think there will always be corruption in everything because well, too many humans are like that And there’s no way around it. A President needs to cooperate within the system. Perhaps I’m jaded. I don’t see the point in making so much fuss on either side about one man. Our country deserve focus on more important things. And If corruption is to be fought I don’t think Trump is the one to do it.
Thoughts: he is insignificant. Not worth a thought. Edit: If you’re really Republican you would seek a better candidate to uphold your party’s platform of values- not focus on 1 man - esp. that one.
@Stuffy I’m no fan of his, but I don’t know how you can say that. He’s still got a large, deeply devoted following, and he’s dangerous, and he doesn’t care about being decent. It’s not far-fetched that he could get elected president again. He’s a lot of things, but inconsequential is not one of them yet.

@JPWhoo I’m going to do my part. I’m still a registered Republican so I can vote against him in the primaries. I don’t know why more people don’t do this. Just because your registered in the party doesn’t mean you have to vote Republican in the main election.
