The IRS is purchasing large amounts of ammo and weapons, prior to the massive 87,000 employee increase.

I have never in my life heard of an IRS agent needing to be armed. Don't they just sit in their offices and make phone calls?

The IRS has a Criminal Division, which takes pn organized crime and drug trafficing and money laundering and things. That division is armed. The rest of the IRS isn't.

Big ass steel fence around DC.
87k new agents to harass the citizens.
Half a country that don’t believe the election was legit and Biden’s doing a good job..

You ain’t seen nothing yet comrade.

Because under the Socialist Democrats, they want the gov't to have as much control over the people as possible. This also accounts for all the freebies they give out and why they try to please everyone. They want to control you and want you to be fully dependent on their gov't.

Its obama's playbook , to keep us from getting Ammo and not violate the constitution
In general, they're not armed. However, there are law enforcement positions with the IRS such the Criminal Investigation Special Agent role. They are accountants that carry guns. A number of criminals are busted due to tax evasion. Some of them are violent. The question many of those 87K IRS position will be involved in law enforcement. I did check and they are hiring for the role.

How much was in the budget?
4meAndyou · F
@MarineBob Billions.
Moosepantspatty · 31-35, M
Theyve always had agents that could carry. There was another big worry back during the Obama admin when they bought almost all of the .40 ammo on the market, caused a huge ruckus for a while.

@Moosepantspatty Really? I heard they targeted the Tea Party. Why in hell do they need to be armed NOW???
Moosepantspatty · 31-35, M
@4meAndyou there was a lot of speculation back than, but nothing concrete that im aware of. Theyve just always been armed. Im not sure why, seems if they need to bring someone in on criminal charges theyd just bring out the Marshall's
Virgo79 · 61-69, M
@4meAndyou maybe new targets😉
[image deleted]Christ, those fuckers had SWAT teams under the Obama Administration. This cabal lives in fear of armed and angry citizens! Remember there have been incidents, even under Republican administrations where acts of violence were committed against the IRS.
I have had IRS show up for site visits during an audit. Why shouldn't they be armed for their protection?
@CopperCicada If Bob is a federal employee his agency covers the carrying of firearms in the performance of his official duties. Now as I said, in your words, “…tax filings are clearly bullshit.”, then again I believe if either he’s allowed to be armed then he takes a risk, where if he’s not and problems are expected then coordinate w/ local LE first or use the IRS SWAT personnel.
@soar2newhighs Sorry for being sarcastic. Be well.
@CopperCicada No problem.

During the Obama years, a lot of ammo was purchased for the Social Security Administration. Why do they need it?
nedkelly · 61-69, M
The IRS have become the legalised MAFIA, talk about becoming a dangerous organisation
Budwick · 70-79, M
Hmmm, maybe they are planning a promotion!
You know, get a box of 9mm with every audit!
Amylynne · 26-30, F

@4meAndyou intereting . though a dive into those outlets show a SERIOUS bias..
these are all "red pill" outlets. and my connections inside federal procurement are at odds with much of this info
the IRS has ALWAYS had gun toting agentry remeber the 30"s
how much ammo would YOU procure if you had to run a team of anti gang /organized crime/ strike teams?
the feds are by nature and design, conservative.
4meAndyou · F
@Amylynne I suppose it isn't true in your own bias, if conservative bias seems apparent. So biased yourself you can't see the full picture.

@Abstraction Notice how you neglected to say Zuckerburg, Bezos, Bloomberg, every executive at Twitter, etc, etc

Gee, who has more money than those you listed
Virgo79 · 61-69, M

Abstraction · 61-69, M
@Slade Only not mentioned because I'd be writing forever if I list all the corporations and billionaires. Yes, they are absolutely included here...
