The IRS is purchasing large amounts of ammo and weapons, prior to the massive 87,000 employee increase.

I have never in my life heard of an IRS agent needing to be armed. Don't they just sit in their offices and make phone calls?

Theyve always had agents that could carry. There was another big worry back during the Obama admin when they bought almost all of the .40 ammo on the market, caused a huge ruckus for a while.

@4meAndyou there was a lot of speculation back than, but nothing concrete that im aware of. Theyve just always been armed. Im not sure why, seems if they need to bring someone in on criminal charges theyd just bring out the Marshall's
