When people talk about the deaths caused by communism they'll

Willingly ignore capitalist death tolls
SteelHands · 61-69, M
Capitalism's corporate grifts enabled by democratic "equal rights" advocacy.

There are others but I'll mention just a couple of them here.

1. Labor statistics are flawed severely. Over the last 60 years an increase if females entering the work force was never factored into employment numbers or the unemployment rate.

2. Since mothers were previously the primary household and child care providers, the reduction in that full time occupation was switched into a daycare part time with limited days for mothers, and added hours of work for husbands that now shared those household duties without a corresponding increase in income. That translates to lowering discretionary time without pay. Bureau of labor doesn't get to add this work into the employment calculations. It also doesn't amortize these hours into FICA quarterly qualification scores.

Socialism, which is just the economic sales pitch for communism, is so flawed that only a full on fantasy follower would think its a good thing so suffice it to say that it pretends to eliminate classess but really creates poverty for the masses and an ultra elite that rules over them at gunpoint.

Unless you're in the inner circle and often as not, even if you are your political leanings mean nothing to a real leftist.

You're just a temporary useful idiot under the socialist system. A necessity depleter that better have an important use or its off to siberia. And leave the coat.

@Guitarman123 In Soviet that's translated as "bug"

@SteelHands I'm not bothered about what Soviets thought of the proletariat as they deviated greatly from the communist revolution and I'm more into the works of Karl marx, friedrich engels, guy debord and erich fromm

(State sponsored) capitalism and communism are different sides of the same coin
@SteelHands Sadly I see no evidence of this since you don't understand basic things that have been common knowledge for literally 80 years.

Just because you are a bookworm doesn't automatically mean you have read anything relevant.

Anybody that's more interested in finding things out to a greater extent than deciding which kind of ideologue they want to become doesn't make the conversational approaches that you do.

You might think that your extremism for the lies you embrace fit reality but you fail to understand that you are and have been mostly blind to reality all your life.

Fascism is fascism because it's what it is and that's the name for it. Not new. Not something else. Not catch all for other things. No professor's vapid stretches of faulty reasoning can change that.

Simple facts. Get some.

You have an odd view of cause and effect.
Guitarman123 · 31-35, M
@Human1000 communism is where the state has ceased to exist, class division has been abolished as well as private property

@Guitarman123 Hallelujah
Guitarman123 · 31-35, M
@Human1000 that's what philosophers of the frankfurt school and rosa Luxembourg among others fought for

The lack of clean water is hardly the result of capitalism nor the exclusive outcome of capitalist societies.
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@Roundandroundwego And, how many people are clamoring to be let into Bolivia?
@MarkPaul we didn't expect truth from the NATO merikan. Only threats, lies insults and military might.
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@Roundandroundwego Thanks for lying about Bolivia.
Yep. It is definitely lies by omission. Also when tallying the death tolls of communist leaders the numbers seem to go up magically by 10s or 100s of millions out of nowhere.
The Black book of Communism which is referenced here and seems to be referenced by every anti communist online is also a total joke.

Half the contributors have disavowed it because the person who compiled the book was cooking the numbers and determined to come up with numbers in the 100s of millions even if they had to fabricate the numbers.
@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow NATO is a fact checker for Twitter and Meta.

I mean, this is a somewhat unfair argument because it has flaky causality BUT it does highlight that the "killed by socialism," arguments also have flaky causality, assuming that the the USSR and Mao's China were even socialist.
Guitarman123 · 31-35, M
@Burnley123 I consider them state capitalists
CestManan · 46-50, F
You already know this is a not-so-thinly veiled attempt to try to get people to take that damn covid shot.

My gyod, they could have at least TRIED to hide it better.
@CestManan Now that we're getting to be good buddies, at least of the online variety, you should know that a huge part of the reason that sort of talk upsets me isn't so much that you're putting other people at risk with your behavior. It's that you're putting yourself at risk, all the while thinking you're playing it safe.
CestManan · 46-50, F
@LordShadowfire We're cool, it doesn't mean we always have to agree 😉
This is a war. Capitalism is winning.
Americans don't want peace.
are you a sissy?
Guitarman123 · 31-35, M
@LoneVoice what's that to do with anything?
@Guitarman123 everything. are you a sissy?
Guitarman123 · 31-35, M
@LoneVoice why is that important to you?

Of course. Anything to villainize the other camp.

So, "capitalism" poisons the water?
Human1000 · M
@pianoplayingsteve Sort of like Chernobyl.
pianoplayingsteve · 31-35, M
@Human1000 That doesn't explain how capitalism poisons water. Chernobyl was a power plant in the Soviet Union.
Human1000 · M
@pianoplayingsteve (exactly 😉)

@SteelHands Wow. The arrogance to think I need your forgiveness for calling you out on your bullshit. Yikes.

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow I deleted this content since you've decided to harrange the other thread. You might as well erase your half of the above as useless reading.
