You have an odd view of cause and effect.
Guitarman123 · 31-35, M
@Human1000 so that means just embrace capitalism and ignore its evils?
Human1000 · 51-55, M
@Guitarman123 I don’t think so, no. I just think that list is silly.
Guitarman123 · 31-35, M
@Human1000 because deaths under capitalism are acceptable?
Human1000 · 51-55, M
@Guitarman123 If not for capitalism people would be immortal.
Guitarman123 · 31-35, M
@Human1000 that supposed to make sense?
Human1000 · 51-55, M
@Guitarman123 About as much sense as your post.
Guitarman123 · 31-35, M
@Human1000 I'm highlighting the deaths that are caused by capitalism and the hypocrisy of those willingly ignoring it
Human1000 · 51-55, M
@Guitarman123 Capitalism saves far more lives than “it kills.”
Guitarman123 · 31-35, M
@Human1000 Well judging by the fact America spends 800 billion dollars on the military whilst ignoring the Millons of its citizens in poverty
Guitarman123 · 31-35, M
@Human1000 shows that isn't the case
Human1000 · 51-55, M
@Guitarman123 Those are political decisions, not economic ones.
Guitarman123 · 31-35, M
@Human1000 political decisions that are financially rewarding to governments and capitalist bosses

@Guitarman123 Corruption isn’t an economic system. The idea that communist governments aren’t corrupt is laughable.
Guitarman123 · 31-35, M
@Human1000 the reason government officials are corrupt is because they paid to be. Communists want to weaken governments to such an extent that it is no longer needed
Human1000 · 51-55, M
@Guitarman123 Being paid isn’t capitalism. You simply are labeling anything bad as capitalism.
Guitarman123 · 31-35, M
@Human1000 being paid for self gain while knowing it is being done at the expense of regular people is absolutely capitalism
Human1000 · 51-55, M
@Guitarman123 You literally have no idea what capitalism is.
Guitarman123 · 31-35, M
@Human1000 it's paying workers less than they are worth so the capitalist makes surplus value of the back of the working classes labour power
Human1000 · 51-55, M
@Guitarman123 Yes, the owner of the factory that employees people makes more money than the average worker. As it should be.
Guitarman123 · 31-35, M
@Human1000 why should it be? Their working harder than the bosses
Human1000 · 51-55, M
@Guitarman123 Because they created the factory (and I don’t agree they work less). If there was no profit there would not have been a factory employing anyone. Where there was poverty is now employment, healthcare, and wages to live.

Business owners work far more hours than hourly employees.
Guitarman123 · 31-35, M
@Human1000 might not be poverty but the workers still only just about earn enough to be able to survive but not enough to live a meaningful life outside of work as they are doing long hours whilst getting paid less than what they are worth. Yes the one advantage workers have is that they can turn off when they finish whereas the boss is in constant stress just maintaining the business and that's if he's lucky. Under common ownership that responsibility is shared so the workers have better conditions and more socialble hours so their personal lives aren't compromised due to long working hours which robs them of a fulfilling personal life
Human1000 · 51-55, M
@Guitarman123 I agree wages can be too low to thrive. I don’t agree with doing away with private ownership, though. I’ve driven East German cars.
Guitarman123 · 31-35, M
@Human1000 private ownership keeps workers trapped in a constant rotating wheel of work, eat and sleep So they feel like they have no life as its based on their job
