@gol979 in a socialist society the state would compromise of delegates voted in by the workers who are paid workers wages and can be called for recall if they abuse their position and once communism is successfully established the state would wither away as it would no longer be needed. Being a member of the labour party is about supporting working class rights and advocating for common ownership of the means of production

@Guitarman123 The correct use of capitalism isn't supposed to pay all its dividends as if investors were the only ones that built the industry in question.
Workers earn a greater part and shares are supposed to be included in wages but the dsmb asx union / management / government threesome locked out the worker from profits, votes, and more importantly, dedicated people that wouldn't have sold us out to foreign interests.

True corporatism is lasses faire until the workers interests are being abused and profit comes in at number 3, not number one. And unlike socialism it must benefit both the workers and society at large, not the poliburo.

@SteelHands was actually the big bosses /capitalists who run the companies who've stopped workers from earning better wages as for the boss to earn a greater profit they pay theirs employees less money whilst making them work longer hours. Governments support the free market and de regulating it which gives the capitalist free reign to exploit the workers in their private property which Adam Smith certainly never advocated for and Karl marx greatly criticised the system in das kapital where he accurately explains the contradictions of capitalism and how its sole purpose is to benefit those at the top and keep the majority of society down in the dirt
