I'll just say what a lot of us are thinking: Charlie Kirk was not an important man. He was a social media personality making money. Period.

The political right in America are propping up his barely cold corpse and parading it around in an attempt to further their political agenda.
All the performative rending of garments and gnashing of teeth is just theater to galvanize their largely ignorant base.
Kirk was not a great man or champion of free speech. He was just a backwards Christian nationalist who used debating college kids as a means to platform his regressive, harmful views and make money off the people he managed to fool.

As a man he'll be forgotten in the blink of an eye and remembered only by the right as something they know they're mad about.

I'll just add the comparison between the anger over his death, and it was wrong.. Compared to the treatment of those that invaded the capital back when..

@Pikachu not overthrow democracy, destroy democracy by cheating on the election!
Northwest · M
@Ferise1 It's interesting how so many Australians figured out how to vote for Trump in 2020, and feel cheated because their votes were not counted.

I am sure (or at least I hope) he was an important man to his family and friends.

But yes, he is not the man that is currently being projected.
Patriot96 · 56-60, C
@SunshineGirl your opinion
@SunshineGirl

Probably. But you know what i'm saying

Erika Kirk publicly forgave the shooter. Has anyone on the left forgave the cop that kneeled on George Floyds neck?

I'm glad you folks are speaking out with your hate, you help move people away from your horrible
disgusting failure of a party.

Be prepared to lose big in the upcoming elections.
@DogMan

I don't want to say anything for sure...but that came off to me as very performative. Same thing with her posting to the internet a video of her at his coffin.
Comes off as fake. I don't think she really cared about him.

Yes Pikachu.
The world can see right through their BS.
I heard he didn't really want to do this either.
And that he was paid to push this agenda.
They sacrificed him and now he's gone.
Trump spent the whole time at his funeral talking about autism. Make that make sense. ☺
Northwest · M
He was an extremely important man. He organized the drive to organize the fanatic religious youth, who ended up giving Trump the edge he needed to win.

This was mostly the college crowd, which is ironic, because he dropped out of college after attending for about a nanosecond.
Northwest · M
@Pikachu Turning Point created 850 chapters in US colleges and spent $Millions on “chase the vote” initiative, translating into a margin that allowed Trump to win.

OK?
@Northwest

Oh i didn't realize that.
But i'd still contend then that he played a small role in an important decision which still doesn't make him important.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@Northwest have you read about Europe in the 1930s? That movement did not go well for anyone! Reaf Ullrich's "Hiter."

@Pikachu he almost had to declare personal bankruptcy, and is now a multibillionaire.
HoeBag · 46-50, F
Now now, we are suppose to be virtue signaling during this difficult time for the MAGAts.

Suppose to be feeling bad for his family and all that.

I imagine THE night that he was off'ed, his wife was getting banged by her boyfriend's BBC.
yestestvennaya · 22-25, F
His corpse has been cold since September 10. Rendered cold by a bullet of the unhinged. Is it hard to say this is wrong? To understand that people ought not be snuffed out for the things they say?
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@yestestvennaya i have not heard anyone say that the murder was anything but wrong. But, we also have to admit that many of his teachings were an abomination and not deserving of the attempt to lionize him.
@yestestvennaya

No it's not hard to say that it was wrong. It was wrong for that man to murder that other man.
There, i've said it.
I think you've missed the point.
everyone is an important man. everyone.
@StygianKohlrabi

I mean sure, in the sense that we're all people with our own unique lives. But not in the broader sense of being historically or socially important
@Pikachu I don't believe I'm any judge of that especially with our non historical perspective
Patriot96 · 56-60, C
And the left canonized george floyd and erected a stutue for a criminal drug adict
@Patriot96 Read what I wrote. Glad to see you are sinless
Patriot96 · 56-60, C

He is going to be like this animitronic figure like we see at Chuck E cheese. 😄
@HoeBag

I mean, yeah pretty much.
The people using his memory don't care about him. It's just another weapon in their war.

@DogMan

Why are you so obsessed with Floyd? How is this about Floyd?🤔
