I'll just say what a lot of us are thinking: Charlie Kirk was not an important man. He was a social media personality making money. Period.

The political right in America are propping up his barely cold corpse and parading it around in an attempt to further their political agenda.
All the performative rending of garments and gnashing of teeth is just theater to galvanize their largely ignorant base.
Kirk was not a great man or champion of free speech. He was just a backwards Christian nationalist who used debating college kids as a means to platform his regressive, harmful views and make money off the people he managed to fool.

As a man he'll be forgotten in the blink of an eye and remembered only by the right as something they know they're mad about.

He was an extremely important man. He organized the drive to organize the fanatic religious youth, who ended up giving Trump the edge he needed to win.

This was mostly the college crowd, which is ironic, because he dropped out of college after attending for about a nanosecond.
@Northwest

I don't think his footprint was as big as it's made out to be.

@Pikachu Trump won the elections by less than 1 percentage point.

@Pikachu Turning Point created 850 chapters in US colleges and spent $Millions on “chase the vote” initiative, translating into a margin that allowed Trump to win.

OK?
@Northwest

Oh i didn't realize that.
But i'd still contend then that he played a small role in an important decision which still doesn't make him important.

@Northwest have you read about Europe in the 1930s? That movement did not go well for anyone! Reaf Ullrich's "Hiter."
