@FatEight The FBI is doing what it always has done...focusing on criminals. Not "the rest of us". You seen them storming your door? I haven’t seen them at mine...or anyone else i know. Trump....among other things...has committed treason. That's why he's on the FBI radar....right where he should be.
You talk about the Dems and Nazi's. But its pure fascism to suggest trump can break the law and he should get a pass....because ur queer for him. Its pure fascism to tell America we dont care that someone else won..... we want the loser to rule America. And you talk about freedoms disappearing? Well no kidding. Voter suppression.....a womans rights to choose what to do with her own body.....teachers are not allowed to teach actual history anymore brcause it disagrees with the white supremacy view of what history should be remembered as. Book banning. Removing the EPAs power to ban emissions in our air and water. Mickey Mouse is our enemy now. Graham wanting a bill passed to kill equal rights for gays. If you're looking at whose taking our freedoms away try watching actual news for a change. Why not tell us all what freedoms anyone but a Republican has taken away? You live in a cloud of delusion and hate and conspiracy theories. Typical red hatter.

Democrats stupidly accuse Trump of treason after spending years trying to overthrow the legitimately elected President of the United States.
Illegal immigrants are costing US taxpayers more than $300 billion each year and the cost is rising. DeSantis was right to get the attention of rich and comfortable Americans who have remained largely aloof from the problems that open borders policies are creating for Americans.
So, by your own admission She won by 984 votes With 124 flawed absentee ballot even if all 624 "possibly" illegal votes WERE illegal, that's 748 illegal votes. So she STILL WON by 984 - 748 = 236 votes Bugs Bunny would gave a great comment for you.
H. Rept. 105-416 - DISMISSING THE ELECTION CONTEST AGAINST LORETTA SANCHEZ105th Congress (1997-1998) COMMITTEE REPORT Hide Overview Report Type: House Report Accompanies: H.Res.355
They found hundreds of illegal votes but stopped investigating before trying to ascertain how many illegal votes were cast. Democrats do not want investigations to discover the full extent of the fraud.
After a careful comparison between the Orange County voter registration files and INS databases the Task Force was able to clearly and convincingly document that 624 persons had illegally registered and thus were not eligible to cast ballots in the November 1996 election.60 In addition, the Task Force discovered 196 instances where there is a circumstantial indication that a voter registered illegally.61 Further, the Orange County Registrar of voters voided 124 improper absentee ballots.62 In total, the Task Force found clear and convincing evidence that 748 invalid votes were cast in this election. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- \60\ See Appendix C. \61\ See Appendix C. \62\ See Appendix C. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- The question of how many aliens are registered and voting in the Forty-sixth Congressional District has not been resolved by this Task Force investigation.
The investigation of this contest has confirmed that there is a significant number of aliens who appear within the INS data bases and are on the voter registration rolls of Orange County. This fact leads logically to a serious question and a troubling hypothesis: if there is a significant number of ``documented aliens'', aliens in INS records, on the Orange County voter registration rolls, how many illegal or undocumented aliens may be registered to vote in Orange County?
The Task Force can make no conclusion based on the materials before it as to the number of illegal aliens who may be on Orange County registration rolls. The Task Force does not have available to it clear and convincing evidence on the number of undocumented aliens who may be registered voters in Orange County. Only clear and convincing evidence can provide the basis to overcome the presumption of the legitimacy of the electoral process.
But the fact still is that, by the numbers you quoted from the wikipedia article, if ALL the flawed & "possibly" illegal votes were cast *for* Ms. Sanchez, removing them *still* leaves a victory of 236 votes.
MORE troubling is that, from your summary, it seems that allegation "a" was never decided.
That is simple question which should have stopped any definite final count from being given out without saying that such an impossible result required an investigation & confirmation of votes.
Also, this is not the same as an explanation for the 2020 Presidential election in the US.
Let me say that ANY fraud is unacceptable. Congress failed to fully investigate what were clear signs of thousands of illegal votes. That is what lazy or corrupt politicians do, they sin against the American people by habit, design, neglect, and by corruption. Congress admitted there was a likelihood that thousands of illegal votes were cast and that it was not their intention of looking into the matter to insure that only legal votes were counted. Here is more from the Congressional Record:
Ms. Sanchez's Motion argued for dismissal of the election contest on the following procedural grounds:
Democrats do not prove no fraud occurred. They simply argue against investigations on procedural grounds, like was done to dismiss so many dozens of voter fraud cases brought before courts in 2020 and 2021.
Unlike court and congressional rejections of voter fraud claims in 2020, Congress admitted the evidence of voter fraud in 1996 was credible.
This represents the first time that the House has moved forward with a hearing on the merits of an election contest under the FCEA. This decision was based on the substantial and credible allegations of fraud contained in Mr. Dornan's Notice. These allegations were supported by independent investigations being conducted by the California Secretary of State and the Orange County District Attorney.
Democrats have been committing voter fraud for more than a century and have fought investigations into fraud for the entire time.
While the Democrats controlled Congress for forty years, there was a consistent denial of access to facts, which frustrated efforts to uncover possible vote fraud or malfeasance in our electoral system.
Congressional democrats, California democrats, democrat-friendly INS officials and others resisted and obstructed the investigation and Congress simply allowed them to get away with fraud by not fighting them to provide the documents that could have proven whether massive fraud occurred or not. Democrats did that in 1996 and they did it again in elections afterward, especially in 2020.
On May 21st, in partial compliance with the subpoenas, the INS provided to the Committee the results of a last name and date- of-birth match 74 between the INS's Central Index System and Naturalization Casework System and the Orange County voter registration list. This computer run identified over 368,520 matches in Orange County and approximately 136,052 matches in the 46th District. All matches are limited to INS files that indicate that a person is not naturalized or that they naturalized after the date on which they registered to vote.
He actually did a fantastic job showing how overblown this whole "migrant crisis" thing was. In order to make it seem like a crisis, he rounded up migrants throughout his entire state in order to pour them all into an island. But even then, he couldn't find enough, so he needed to get migrants from Texas too.
I like the idea of dropping them off at democrats houses. The one's who want open borders should be accomodating right? The people who like to take some of our paycheck and share it with other people who don't work should be ok sharing their stuff right? Seems fair to me.
Here are images of the fake brochures DeSantis provided
One Venezuelan migrant, who spoke to CNN on the condition of anonymity for fear of negative impacts on their immigration case, shared images of the brochure. They said migrants were told that the brochure had information on the assistance they would receive in Massachusetts, but they were not told about the differences in programs for refugees and asylum seekers.
Migrants are, in many cases, asylum seekers, not refugees. Refugees apply for protection overseas and are admitted through the refugee admissions program, whereas asylum seekers apply within the United States.
It's a little known fact that many color printers include a practically invisible "fingerprint" in faint yellow ink. This makes it much easier to catch various kinds of forgers and forgeries.
So if somebody in, say, the Fla Gov's office created a brochure and printed 50 copies on, say, a home printer, the FBI might be able to identify and locate that printer and its owner.

Are you saying brochures that say Massachusetts will welcome immigrants and provide them with support are lying?
@marke I'm saying those particular brochures made particular false promises. I'm basing my statement on the statements of a lawyer. Here, I'll quote her again:
Tallahassee-based immigration attorney Elizabeth Ricci explains there's a "good faith argument" to be made that luring the migrants onto planes with the promise of jobs makes them crime victims. And that means they could automatically qualify for a visa, she said.
"An enticement like that, regardless of whether you sign a waiver, is fraud and that is part of the definition of human trafficking," Ricci explains. "I think that everybody on those planes has a case to legalize as a direct result of being transported by the governor."
BTW, have you noticed how much the taxpayers of Florida paid to put those 48 people on planes and fly them to MV? One payment of about $600K ("Project 1") and another of $900K ("Projects 2 & 3")!! That works out to over $30,000 per person to fly them from San Antonio to Martha's Vineyard!!! And those people weren't even in Florida to begin with!!!! Real good use of Florida's taxpayer dollars, wouldn't you say??

I am more impressed by Governor DeSantis's legal credentials as a Harvard law graduate than by biased opinions uttered by Ricci, a Barry University graduate.
I suspect De Santis spent a few million dollars in efforts to draw attention to the immigration crisis costing US taxpayers more than $300 billion dollars each year with sharp increases in costs expected in the years ahead.
The hypocrite that is so concerned with borders.......crossed 3 of them to get a plane load of immigrants so he could spend $550 million of Florida taxpayer's money to get his face in the news. If his immigration problem was soooooooooooo bad............why go to Texas to find enough illegals to load onto a plane???
@marke Until a hundred thousand babies end up in the system for adoption and then tax dollars are needed to take care of those "freeloading little socialism loving bastards"....right? I....we.....can hear you now.

Why do filthy rich white democrats in gated communities keep saying there is no immigration crisis but yell like hell if the homeless brown people show up in their neighborhoods?
I understand there are Florida residents who’ve asked, if the Gov’s providing free airfare, why he won’t fly them up there ? They’re not migrants, but, hey…
Imagine wasting 550k to fly a couple of immigrants to a place where they don’t know or care about. They’re just here to get out of a bad situation, apply for asylum, work, and attend their court dates.
Florida and Massachusetts are just two more American states attempting to deal with an unmanageable immigration crisis.
Here's an idea for DeSantis: he should round up some Cuban refugees and send them to Texas. Not politically expedient for a Florida politician, you say?

Here's an idea. Round up anyone who complains about American freedom, values, traditions, and prosperity and send the malcontents to Cuba.
Were you pissed off when Biden used federal tax dollars to fly illegals aliens all over the country under the cloak of night? Are you concerned about the 5 million illegals (that we're aware of) that crossed the border since the start of the Biden administration, among them are violent criminals, drug cartel mules, human/child traffickers? How do you feel when Kamala blatantly lies to Americans when she says the border is secure?
@trollslayer I've lived in two border states, and for more years than you. It has nothing to do with the point above. You sound like the bozos who claim the jab is safe because they haven't experienced side effects. Russian Roulette is safe too as long as the bullet isn't chambered when you pull the trigger.
Hm, I would say DeSantis has played this perfectly. It's a great publicity stunt, and likely his 2024 election fund is seeing the fruits of this effort.
@bijouxbroussard I wasnt bought up in that culture any more than most Americans were bought up in the First nations culture..And I have no idea who first walked the land I now own..
@whowasthatmaskedman Most of us do know the Native Americans were here before the first European settlers arrived. Even if we accept that they crossed the Bering Strait to get here, that crossing would’ve occurred 20,000-14,000 years ago. On any other continent, people whose ancestors arrived that long ago are considered indigenous.
@bijouxbroussard Likewise I am aware of our First nations, who may fo back as much as 80,000 years by some datings. But thats not the same as knowing the culture. Its terminology.. But a very important difference. The migrant culture I and many of my countrymen were raised in is evolving even now.😷

@SW-User It's not DeathSantis' money. He loved fucking over the residents of Florida. Look what his photo op decision on Disney is costing his taxpayers.

Imagine wasting hundreds of billions of dollars on homeless immigrants who are just coming to the US to find their needs fully met by the American welfare system.
@Tres13 Yeah, so smart he's trying to undo his part in it this morning. This has had horrible repercussions in the only little patch of land he thinks he rules.
@marke What immigration crisis? He went to another State to get the people and they were not illegal immigrants. They were migrants waiting for their statis in the US Immigration System.

The problem with democrats is they are either too stupid or too dishonest to see or admit they see what the immigration crisis is and the damage it is doing to the United States of America.
Another failed PR stunt by DoucheSantis, at the cost of his taxpayers no less, great plan, let's get rid of immigrants from another State and have our taxpayers pay for it to try and make him look good, people in Florida must really be gullible, oh wait 🤪

When republicans try to help immigrants the democrats accuse them of showboating. When democrats hurt immigrants they accuse republicans of being racist.
@marke Democrat or Republican matters little to the poor immigrants just trying to survive and have a better life than they had in their own Country. Regardless of political affiliation, what DoucheSantis did by lying to these people is reprehensible and indefensible too and I would say the exact same thing if he were a Democrat and had done this.

Democrats hate DeSantis because he is more popular than democrats. They falsely accuse him of mistreating migrants encouraged to enter the US under false pretenses in order to get free welfare money to live on. If anyone is lying to the immigrants it is the democrats who encourage them to enter the US illegally and find some border state sidewalk to set up their homeless tent on.
