What Democrate would you like to see run for presadent in 2024?
I would like to see Michelle Obama run. I think she is what the US needs right now - she is a role model for women and worked as an advocate for poverty awareness, education, nutrition, physical activity, and healthy eating. If she runs against Trump she would likely win by a landslide and losing to a black woman would cut Trump like a knife. Cheers!
@Unefilletrescurieuse It's okay to have different opinions. There's a lot we can agree on so there's no need to block me.
One thing I've noticed about extreme left wingers is that if one doesn't agree with something they say, they'll flip out and get aggressive. If the right wing folks display the same attitude, it'll be a damn shame.
Michelle hasn’t indicated an interest in running for office (to date) and she has no experience as a politician. She’d likely be less inclined after having seen all the garbage the GOP put her husband through.
Right now, I’m looking at Beto O’Rourke. I like what he has to say, he’s young and vital (which, let’s face it, we need) and it would be interesting to finally have a candidate with progressive ideas coming out of Texas, of all places.
@bijouxbroussard Believe it or not there are plenty of liberals in Texas. Some manage to get elected despite electoral shenanigans. The Republican hellhole crap has been forced on us.
With all due respect to Mrs. Obama and her experience as First Lady, I think I'm rather done with people who have had no experience with elected office or government service rising to high offices.
I would like to see Amy Klobuchar run again. Pragmatic Senator who has worked across the aisle in bi-partisanship, and a Midwesterner without the baggage of a coastal Blue state. Nor the baggage of a heavily Red state.
My preference would be Adam Schiff but it's too important for some to "like" a candidate and he's all business. I think Gavin Newsom has a real chance. I'm a Californian and would vote for him in a heartbeat.
@bijouxbroussard Yeah. We've seen him in action. I find him very compassionate but also pragmatic. He's not a pushover. Sort of cut from the Obama mode a bit when it comes to that. I think they truly want to make citizen's lives better. We'll see but I think he might have what it takes.
@Baremine I think it would be a wonderful thing for a lot of reasons. She had a lot of good programs when she was First Lady. And as Presedent she would be in a position to get a lot more programs going. I also think if she did run against Trump she would win by a land side. Cheers!
Nope. No more terrorists and presidents. None of these rich people deserve the title. All they have are elitist agendas to serve their monopolies. Ppffftttttt.
I think they should exhume the body of FDR and run it for an unprecedented fifth term. This strategy would distract Americans from focusing on the unusually large turnout of dead voters in Illinois and Texas.
@Imsleepy I think it is wrong. I have a friend, highly educated, that is a trans girl now. I don't think he is right. But he has to answer on judgement day. I don't believe in same sex marriage. It isn't normal and even defies science. There are deseases that come only from that activity. But if you take your medicine no one knows.
