What Democrate would you like to see run for presadent in 2024?

I would like to see Michelle Obama run. I think she is what the US needs right now - she is a role model for women and worked as an advocate for poverty awareness, education, nutrition, physical activity, and healthy eating. If she runs against Trump she would likely win by a landslide and losing to a black woman would cut Trump like a knife. Cheers!

If Fetterman beats Oz for the PA senate race, he will be a contender. A progressive with working class appeal.

@LeopoldBloom Jeez could you let the guy prove himself first before you throw his hat into the ring?

He still hasn't won his first election, who knows if he even makes it?
@SumKindaMunster Fetterman was the mayor of Braddock, PA and is currently the Lieutenant Governor of Pennsylvania, so he's already won two elections, the last one to a statewide position. Oz meanwhile barely won the Republican nomination. You may want to google these people before commenting on them.

Oz is one of the leading heart surgeons in the U.S., as well as being a peddler of quack remedies. He's also a Muslim, and never gave up his Turkish citizenship, supposedly so he won't need a visa to visit his mother who still lives in Turkey. He has never held elective office, and lives in New Jersey. In 2007, Oz stated that there should be no obstacles if a woman wants an abortion; he has modified that stance this year to opposing abortion except when the mother's life is in danger or rape cases. Oz has also changed his views on climate change and LGBTQ rights to conform to current Republican doxy. Whoever thought this guy would be a contender for the Senate needs to have their head examined. Just saying Oz is wonderful because he's a Republican is ludicrous.

@LeopoldBloom Thanks, it's only July so I haven't done my research yet, I have until November. Somehow in your mind this is derelict on my part? I'm not the one projecting the guy as President even before he's won the very important election he's campaigning for right now.
@SumKindaMunster Stop exaggerating. I said Fetterman would be a contender if he wins his election against Oz. If he loses, he's history. Same for Stacey Abrams who has to beat Brian Kemp first if she has any higher aspirations. Same thing for Beto, Tim Ryan, Raphael Warnock, Mark Kelly, and probably a few others.

I thought you lived in Pennsylvania - you don't know who your Lieutenant Governor is? Nothing wrong with that, but maybe you shouldn't be commenting on politics. You don't see me making predictions for who will be in the Super Bowl when I don't even know most of the teams.

@LeopoldBloom Uh huh. Sorry I momentarily forgot who the Lt Governor is. I mean, gosh, his contributions to ritual duties and ribbon cutting ceremonials is legendary.

I think that's a more typical response to the guy than you sucking his dick and imagining him as President.
@SumKindaMunster Projecting much? Just because you worship Cheeto Benito as the Second Coming of Christ (or maybe the first coming for all I know) doesn't mean I have the same reverence for leaders on my side. Fetterman has won statewide office and has credibility with progressives as well as working class conservatives. Of course, you hate his guts because he's a Democrat and obviously don't know or care about anything beyond that.

@LeopoldBloom Christ dude, are you capable of getting through a conversation without throwing Trump into it? Its like a nervous tic or something...
@SumKindaMunster Yeah, I mean the guy is so insignificant, a nonentity really. He was on some game show, right? Has he done anything since then?
SumKindaMunster · 51-55, M
@LeopoldBloom While the subject is politics, I really don't see the reason to mention Trump in this conversation.
@SumKindaMunster You changed the subject to abject worship of politicians, so bringing up Twitler in that context is appropriate.
