What Democrate would you like to see run for presadent in 2024?

@turningthekeys Who do you see as a "terrorist" ? There will still be presidents and elections here, like it or not. The best way to continue to lose civil rights is to refuse to participate.

@turningthekeys I guess what it’s been in the past. Protest, loudly. As the late John Lewis used to say, making good trouble. It’s part of my heritage.

Well, how do you think we got Roe in the first place ? These folks felt bad and just handed it to us ? No ! We actually got tired of girls and women dying, and there were protests, campaigns and a lot of noise. And there were lot fewer people on our side of the issue back then. The people who have been sending out the conservative justices addresses and protesting on their doorsteps have the right idea. Whining about it won’t do a thing, you’re right about that. And things are getting bad. But yours is the generation that this is really going to disenfranchise down the line, not mine. I’ll probably be in my grave. So if I’m willing to drag my old arse out for one last fight, won’t you ? 🤨

@bijouxbroussard what's the point? I expect humanity to end soon. I donate to PP and write letters and speak up but it hasn't done a thing. I buzz cut my head in protest because nothing else I've done has seemed to help and this is the most visible thing I could do.

Climate change at this point is irreversible. Maybe in theory it could be mitigated even now but as things are going we are destroying the world with no signs of stopping.

There are too many people to sustain at this pace.

The political climate worldwide has been worsening constantly for as long as I can remember. Now things are terrifying and there are fewer sane spaces anywhere.

I would not be surprised if DeSantis ends up president. Pretty on brand for the current trend.
