Is Tucker Carlson Russias greates asset in the US

I used to think that was Trump but heaering how Tucker Carlson regurgitates Russian propaganda on his Show i am starting to think Russias greatest asset in the US is Tucker Carlson.

I think he's more of an icon of how incredibly pathetic and fucked up FOX News and a segment of the American people are.
Kwek00 · 41-45, M
Oh look, here is the Grand Dragon of pathetic fuck-ups himself. 🙄

@sunsporter1649 Big Tech is an arm of the Democrat Party, too.

Hannity is trying to outdo him, with his constant (and false) reporting about Ukraine's biolabs and how Hunter Biden is key to the whole thing.

And let's not forget Tulsi Gabbard, who's been a Putin "publicist" since he entered Syria, and was leading Congressional committees, to Syria to promote Assad as a great guy. She's now a regular on Tucker's shows.

And of course, you can always rely on Donald Jr's tweets in support of the Russian narrative.
ron122 · 41-45, M
Right now, it looks like Biden is Russia's greatest asset.
Kwek00 · 41-45, M
@gol979 A society can't even share the amount of toilet paper during 2020. I can only imagine how fucked up it gets if you don't have a place where power is centralised and at the same moment constrained.

I said the analysis is on the same level. In other words, it's equally r*tarded. That has nothing to do with left or right, but bringing that up kinda supports what I was expressing. It's just stupid.
gol979 · 41-45, M
@Kwek00 the toilet paper insanity was a direct product of the system. Ppl see in the media "toilet roll shortage" and lose their shit because they are in a constant state of fear (also derived from this system). It was also a test to see how primed the population was to receive these messages. Evidently so ready that they will defend the same system and ppl that are oppressing them
Kwek00 · 41-45, M
@gol979 Maybe human beings just have fear built into them. It can be manipulated, it can be heightened. But at the end of the day, people are fearfull because that's what has kept caveman alive. And the fact that people are more busy living their lives, instead of figuring out how they tick themselves keeps people from becoming aware of their own thraits. And fear is an awfull advisor, once people are fearfull they act in ways that are destructive. Sometimes to themselves but most of all for others. It's that fear that makes people cling together for protection from the outside. It aids them to create tribes, choose leaders, and follow common prescriptions to save the group and themselves from the outside world. And maybe, just maybe, if my perception is right, that's the reason why far left ideologies are not meant for this era, because people are just not ready for it. Because from the liberal center all the way through the far left there is always this idea that humanity as a whole would just stop abiding to these internal mechanisms and drives if we just change the sytem. As if these drives are product of the system, because lefties just can't accept that maybe just maybe it's not and it's inherrent to how people function and have always functioned because they haven't been able to control that part of their human nature.

That would seem to be the case! Pity we can’t air drop him in his favorite country and just leave him there.
spjennifer · 56-60, T
@Zaphod42 Air drop minus the parachute? 😃
Zaphod42 · 46-50, M
@spjennifer Nope, with a chute…I want him to live with what he advocates for 😉
TinyViolins · 31-35, M
I highly doubt it. Granted, I'm convinced that Tucker is one of the biggest morons on TV, but he's very much a product of a right-wing media echo chamber that cares more about sanctimonious pearl-clutching than delivering results.

Let's be clear, Russia doesn't care about left or right in American politics. It just cares about itself, and their goal is to knock America and the EU down a few pegs in order to rise to the top of global hegemony.

They feed disinformation to both sides while trying to divide us against ourselves. It just happens that conservative Americans are a little more susceptible to those propaganda tactics than liberals because conservatives are naturally more sensitive to threats
spjennifer · 56-60, T
He's certainly a propagandist for Russia but there will eventually be a price to pay, the "base" is fickle and it will only take one thing to have them turn against him, then hopefully Fox will send his ass to the bleachers.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
Tucker is more useful to Russia at the moment, and is being shown on Russian TV just help justify their invasion of Ukraine. However, Trump remains a useful idiot and a stooge for Putin.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
LOL, surely looks like Tucker is hitting too close to home for the goddamndemonocrats, it's grand!
spjennifer · 56-60, T
@sunsporter1649 Yes, we know, you'd "Rather be a Russian than a Democrat" ole sundowner 🦆😃

sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
spjennifer · 56-60, T
@sunsporter1649 You keep posting this so I'm sure it hits close to home ole sundowner? 🦆🤪
He's definitely up there.

To be fair though, I think, like Trump, it's just a case of Carlson's interest lining up with Putin, and I doubt there's real fealty involved.
BackyardShaman · 61-69, M
The majority of the GOP and their voters really count as the huge asset for Russia’s Government. DeSantis is really hoping to be Putin’s new number 1 puppet.
southbeachguy · 46-50, M
Do you actually watch what he says? Nothing about what he says is unreasonable, agree or disagree. Republicans who criticize Carlson are without love for free speech or open two sided discussion of issues. They might as well be twitter or Facebook or Nancy Pelosi. I could not be more ashamed of parts of the Republican party right now.
hunkalove · 61-69, M
I remember when he was first on MSNBC. I thought he was hilarious. What he is doing now on FOX is obviously for the $$$, like everything there. Punching people's buttons to sell advertising.
Carla · 61-69, F
He is at the moment.
You werent wrong about trump having been that. He is still important. Putin needs to keep trump pumped with his faux admiration. Just in case.
Keepitsimple · 51-55, F
As much as I like Fox News I can’t stand Tucker Carlson. Hope he gets fired soon so I don’t have to look for my remote at 8 PM every night.
Joe Biden is. Hes the guy that burns money, out of ignorance or deliberately enticing a larger war.
Nanoose · 61-69, M
He is and I wouldn't be surprised if he starts going on the Fox show and doing the Russian squat dance to give his new audience a thrill. Cheers an happy weekend!
