Who is the worst President in United States history?

graphite · 61-69, M
Biden, followed by Obama and Carter
Rizzle420 · M
@markansas there's actually a reason behind it being called the Spanish Flu... it has to do with their neutrality in World War 1 and press censorship
@Rizzle420 SOME ONE who knows a little history. thanks
and they wore a mask.

i'm not american but i can give you an international perspective on this topic: if you were to ask this question to all non-americans of the world, absolutely everyone would say Trump, I might even go as far as saying that he is probably in the top 5 leaders that have most been ridiculed in history. just look at the faces of other world leaders when Trump was around, they were ALL rolling their eyes thinking " where the hell did they get this moron?".
IronHamster · 56-60, M
@Rizzle420 One would indeed have to be a moron to insinuate Trump was broke, especially someone that has clearly demonstrated she has no understanding of bankruptcy laws, but that's why folks vote Democrat to begin with. They're morons. So...?
BEENOV · 51-55, M
@reflectingmonkey I absolutely believe that and the reason is that he is an anti socialist. Europe is ruined with socialism. Trump is all about America and fuck everyone else. Made him extremely popular with working Americans
RedBaron · M
@Rizzle420 Not sure why it actually matters.
Never before has a President used his own cabinet to plan an insurrection against the United States.
@IronHamster if so he would have looked liked this
[image deleted]JUST ME PUSHING BUTTONS on the keyboard of course
Rizzle420 · M
@IronHamster so, just to be clear, you guys aren't using the one-drop rule anymore?...
@Rizzle420 for those who do not know the one drop rule. one drop of black makes you black. [image deleted]
windinhishair · 61-69, M
Historians have James Buchanan, Andrew Johnson, and Trump in the bottom three. Take your pick of order.
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@windinhishair Yes.. And I am constantly amazied that even Lil Abner Yokum can look at such an obvious fraud and moral ans ethical bankrupt at every level and still show any kind of support. He violates several of the commandments every breath he draws. He violates the sanctity of marraige even while his wife is in hospital having their child. (Or does he know something about Barons father that we dont?) And his disdain for the ordinary citizen and lack of respect for his obligations to his country are the stuff of Legend.
Just how stupid can Trump supporters be and not need help to breathe?😷
Justme22 · M
@windinhishair Harding is at the very bottom as well. Much more than Carter or Biden.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Justme22 Harrison, Tyler, Fillmore, Harding, and Hoover are in the next group just above the three I mentioned, and Franklin Pierce.
While I'll freely admit Biden is well below average, in my opinion, Trump was far worse. But what do the experts say? According to professional historians, Trump is the worst ever. In 2018, a survey of 170 presidential historians ranked Trump LAST. And that was before Covid-19 and before his insurrection.

Worst in order. They absolute worst Joe Biden. Next worse and Joe Biden s controller Barrock Obama. Third would be Jimmy Carter. Three good reasons to shut the Democratic party down.
Baremine · 70-79, C
@softspokenman you have been deceived by the devil himself. This whole pandemic is blown out of proportion. The bottom line or goal is a new world order. Fauci lied to Trump and Biden. Biden is a crook and there is proof. And the deep state is well documented as well as who controls it.
@Baremine Total US confirmed deaths from covid, updated 1/28/2022 4:53 PM MT
877,815 (+ 1750)

It's not 'out of proportion' to their families, parents, spouses, children, and friends.

@softspokenman a 17 year old with bone cancer for four years gets covid and dies. The hospital under CDC rules says he died of civid. Truth, he died of cancer. Their covid deaths are seriously tweeked.

Reagan hands down. His economic philosophy of wealth trickling down has facilitated decades and decades of corruption in politics and corporate wrongdoing.

He pathed the way to the political environment we now live in; one where only the very rich have any say in our "democracy".

Reaganomics really fucked us bad in the long run.

If I could go back in time and kill two people before they had a chance to infect this country with their ideas they would be Alexander Hamilton and Ronald Reagan
IronHamster · 56-60, M
@Eternity No. Reagan beat Carter by wide margin because Carter did what you said Reagan did. Set your thermostat at 68, wear a sweater, even-odd gasoline lines, massive inflation, high unemployment? That was Carter.
MethDozer · M
@Baremine lmao. 🤣 Reaganomics worked. Too funny
MethDozer · M
@Eternity Even his own cabinet and advisors who came up with the trickle down tjeory have admitted they lied and knew it would never work and just went along with it to appease rich punters and donators.

@theAlchemist I enjoy seeing fascists like you literally project their deep, multiple deficiencies upon others. You have posted no facts, only photoshopped memes, and then you have the lack of respect for yourself to call other posts fantasies, delusions, and projections. Your nazi beliefs will not prevail this time any more than they did 80 years ago. What a sad excuse for a human being you are, with emotional intelligence arrested at the level of a third-grader, and a complete and utter lack of self-awareness and pride in your inhumanity.

Do you plan to do the disposal you allude to? Will you be manning the ovens, or just cleaning out the ashes to make room for others? You'd better do it quickly--people with your level of hatred never make it to retirement age because the rage consumes them and dispenses with their soul, and their bodies follow.

You and your fellow infant children are free to use whatever childish epithets you wish. It is merely a reflection of your complete lack of emotional development and just another tantrum of yours that you are infamous for.

You infantile fascists are all the same. You lack the intelligence to present facts, and have to rely on memes to spread your hate and vitriol. And when that doesn't work, you block people, but only after you get in the last raging and demented response. Predictable. What a sad waste of a life yours is.
theAlchemist · 56-60, M
@windinhishair There's a reason why the things you say in your posts here are never directly addressed by me - they are so far off the mark from who and what I really am as to be utterly ridiculous and laughable. I do wish I had $100.00 for every lie you've said about me here - I'd have a nice bit of cash if that were the case. Your idea of "facts" is the propaganda, lies and bullshit spewed by the degenerate mainstream media and idiotic leftist "fact checkers". And bought off and bribed "corporate science".
graphite · 61-69, M
Biden. Even worse than Carter, Clinton and Obama. Hey, everybody enjoy your tanking retirement accounts today. Dow has sunk below 30,000, thanks to disastrous Democrat policies.
@graphite And there you go negating the one time you used a word correctly. Leftists and Democrats are not remotely the same thing.

And you take the coward's way out. A racist is a racist. Seems you need a remedial English course.
Slade · 56-60, M
@graphite The first characteristic of a racist is an obsession with race.

And anyone who doesn't act like their cartoonish idea of that race, is a race traitor who doesn't even deserve to live

There is a very long list of bad democrat presidents. Worst to least worst Biden, Obama, Carter, LBJ, Clinton, Kennedy. Even my boyhood hero 'Give 'em hell Harry' was dodgy. FDR as a terrible person but he was able to fool the people as he took away their freedoms and got the US into a war.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@Rizzle420 I served in the Armed Forces. I don't respect a man or woman because they served or got shot down or injured. They were just guys doing their job. I knew a lot of WWII vets and loved to hear them speak of their experiences. To a man they said they were not exceptional. They were just doing their job
Rizzle420 · M
@hippyjoe1955 the government via our taxes... instead of throwing it away in this corrupt money pit they call defense spending
Rizzle420 · M
@hippyjoe1955 blame the adults in the cult that thought they could dictate to the federal government how things were going to be... you can have pride or you can be a parent but most of the time you can't do both... if you put your political principles ahead of your children's well-being then you deserve neither Freedom nor children
Pfuzylogic · M
I always grew up thinking Herbert Hoover and the nasty economic depression he welcomed in. However the last two Republican Presidents have been real stinkers! 😷
Pfuzylogic · M
@Crazywaterspring
That strategy let a let of the impoverished die and suffer particularly the elderly hence Social Security. “The Grapes of Wrath” by John Steinbeck catalogued it perfectly.

windinhishair · 61-69, M
@masterofyou Biden's two fiscal year budgets so far are both less than what we had during Trump's term in office, so he has decreased spending significantly. You really don't have anything specific, do you? I knew that, but I just wanted you to admit it.
masterofyou · 70-79, M
@windinhishair has anyone ever told you your a total wack job 🙄???
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@masterofyou Only people like yourself who make statements they are factually unable to substantiate and are schooled and humiliated as a result.

And inevitably, once their ignorance and profound idiocy is exposed, they block. It is as predictable as the sun rising. You can run from me, but you can't run from yourself and your deliberate lack of education and discernment.
The narcissist (gaslighter) that plays the victim.

"It's a hoax by the Democrats just to make me look bad for the election."
"Everyone is being mean and unfair just to make me look bad".
"I'm being treated worse than Abraham Lincoln."
"I know all about rigging the system because the system was rigged against me. I think you know who I mean"
@softspokenman "Kim Jong-Un inspires me because he speaks and his people sit up at attention. I want my people to do the same.” to women who breast feed their babies..."you're disgusting"
@fernie2 👍 His first wife Ivana said that it was "Unsexy" 🤦‍♂️

The absolute worst president is Comrad Joe Biden. The second worst would be Comrad Obama Joe's handler. The third worst would be jimmy Carter.
Rizzle420 · M
@Baremine Idiocy like yours is why this country is failing... the connection between Trump and Russia with more than proven despite Republicans obstructing justice every step of the way... Fox News is the equivalent of Joseph Goebbels propaganda office during the Nazi regime... just because you want to believe their BS doesn't make it true and just because you had a good time in the 1950s doesn't mean it was a good time for America...oh and Reagan committed treason too...Iran Contra ring a bell... Congress past the bowling Amendment specifically to keep the Reagan Administration from breaking the law and they did it anyway... but I guess since he's Republican you're fine with any crimes he may have committed...fn hypocrites

NeoNazi FDR and Socialist LBJ were almost as bad as Wilson, who gave us the Federal Reserve and fucked up The War to End All Wars, but thanks to Joe Biden, at least Carter will go to his grave no longer being the worst President in American history.
Rizzle420 · M
Well no one will ever be as bad as Trump and Bush... both got in thru voter fraud... both could barely speak publicly..neither one served in the military so they didn't care about our troops nor our nation.. and that's not even getting into all the ignorant ass Republican policies that have repeatedly not worked for our nation but they keep on trying..
Rizzle420 · M

@NatureGuy77 But there were many presidents before you were born. Unfortunately, presidential historians don't consider your lifetime relevant.

Without a doubt, Woodrow Wilson! Every present day ill, came from his Administration. Few, discuss this.

@Oster1 Woodrow Wilson reinvigorated the Democrat terror group known as the KKK. Democrats love racism.
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
I have been watching this one with some interest as an outsider and reached the following genuine conclusions. A minority of Americans actually look objectively at their President regarding his quality as a leader of the"Free World" (Whatever that means)
This most American Presidents are either popular overseas, because of how they decide things regarding foreign policy. Or popular at home, because of how good they make life for citizens. (Not unreasonable on the face of it)
Now I have deduced the reason for this. The American economy has run at a loss to the world for decades now, the deficit growing larger and larger. Some presidents encourage this, spending up big to make things easier for the people. Cheap fuels, utilities, and food. But now and then along comes a President who insists the nation tries to live within its means and the economy tanks, which makes him VERY unpopular at home.
Now obviously factors like control of the House and Senate and State rulings apply. But it does explain a lot.😷

whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@MarmeeMarch Quite possibly. However, I can draw timeline from Nixon abandoning the Gold Standard to fund the deficit that paid for Vietman spending through each successive administration to the current day as they bounced from one mistake to the next and put off paying for the sins of the Fathers all the way down the line. The funny thing about economics is that while the numbers can be tortured, misread and represented badly, they cant actually lie. If you fail to carry the one someplace it comes back to haunt you. In the case of US economics, they even created fictional money by printing it with no value to back it up. That looks good from inside the country. But in the end other countries catch on and start wanting more $ for the stuff they sent you. Thats what makes the share market😷 so "high" V P/E ratios and safe haven investments like gold and property so high. All of this wouldnt matter too much. If America didnt have around $40 Trillion to pay off its credit card already. This is all going to rebalance itself at Americas expense. It has to. And it goods like fairly soon.

No other POTUS has ever reached the level of unethical, greedy and deceitful behavior and activity that Trump did, "an unprecedented case". The investigations still continue according to the rule of law.

Warren G. Harding (1920) was one of the most incompetent Presidents. Teapot Dome scandal.

@badminton Yes but he was hands off the economy that let it roar through the 20's (together with Coolidge, the best economic pres we've had)
badminton · 61-69, MVIP
@Slade That hands off policy, and the lack of regulation, led directly to the stock market crash in 1929.
Slade · 56-60, M
@badminton uh no. Hands off an economy doesn't cause it to crash. That's how every recession gets extended into depressions.

A market economy goes in cycles - leave it alone if you actually want it to improve

@swirlie I live comfortably in the country. Make in the neighborhood of $75k a year on retirement. We raced a car for ten years which was $100000 of wasted money over ten years. It was fun though. I drove for a company and didn't have the incredible expense of owning my own rig. A friend of mine owned his own. He brought in more than I did but I cleared more than him.
