Reagan hands down. His economic philosophy of wealth trickling down has facilitated decades and decades of corruption in politics and corporate wrongdoing.

He pathed the way to the political environment we now live in; one where only the very rich have any say in our "democracy".

Reaganomics really fucked us bad in the long run.

If I could go back in time and kill two people before they had a chance to infect this country with their ideas they would be Alexander Hamilton and Ronald Reagan

@Eternity yes it's like I try to tell these conservatives that Trickle-down economics works on paper(and only on paper) because it doesn't take into account corporate greed... and people act ignorant like they don't see the connection between corporate donations to the GOP and the Republicans desire to implement Reaganomics and to deregulate so that they can pollute with Reckless abandon
@Eternity did not the trickle down theory mean piss on the working class

@Eternity it is very obvious that you don't have a clue as to how great Regan's economic policies really were. The economy was booming. He shared the same ideas as JFK.

@Baremine dude you cannot argue with hindsight; the consensus among economists is that Reagan, no matter how good his intentions may have been, made this country a worse place to be working class and a better place to be rich.

Google it.

@Baremine booming for who?... I think you've watched too many movies about 1980s Wall Street... both of my parents struggled mightily in those days.. all of my clothes were from thrift stores.. if you think those were good economic times for the average American then you were clearly insulated from reality

@Eternity No. Reagan beat Carter by wide margin because Carter did what you said Reagan did. Set your thermostat at 68, wear a sweater, even-odd gasoline lines, massive inflation, high unemployment? That was Carter.

@Baremine lmao. 🤣 Reaganomics worked. Too funny

@Eternity Even his own cabinet and advisors who came up with the trickle down tjeory have admitted they lied and knew it would never work and just went along with it to appease rich punters and donators.
