I'm not exactly a fan of Trump, but some of his policies were good for America and the world. For instance his NOT joining the Paris accord on climate change was a good call. The fraud on climate has gone way out of hand. But there is more stuff on NOT giving IRAN nuclear ability. I do honestly think he was more good than bad.

@QuixoticSoul Someone spent years watching YouTube videos, thinking it means the same thing as 'years studying climate change'.
Their debunked theory, is that the rise in CO2 [i][b]levels[/b][/i] "lags" naturally occurring rises in earth temperature. That's science, but only if you're a 16th-17th century scientist.
What happened since, was first the industrial revolution, followed by massive human expansion and the machinery that came with it. The less trees/vegetation we have, the more devastating the negative feedback loop is, with continued reduced natural CO2 recycling.
At this point, and since the industrial revolution, it's the other way around. So CO2 levels no longer lag rises in temperature.
The pseudo science, aka YouTube sleuths, say that we have a CO2 equilibrium. That's laughable. The CO2 equilibrium battle was lost more than 100 years ago, and the imbalance gap has been widening and accelerating.
To further aggravate the problem, every 1 degree C rise in temperature caused by CO2, causes a cumulative 3 degrees C rise, due to the water evaporation issue that [b][i]lags[/i][/b] the CO2 effect.
The best we can hope for, at this point, is a mitigating strategy, hoping that we can execute a soft landing, 50 years from now. Otherwise, it's going to be a hard landing.
But I'm sure someone is going to say "but climate has been changing for 500 Billion years". Yeah, but that does not change the fact that we are where are today, due to human behavior that can and should be modified.

@Vegasfor30 There’s not much that he actually accomplished to get praise for. Removing America from the Paris Accord, or managing to get some of his big wall built at the southern border is not an accomplishment. Maybe it is for climate change deniers, and those who don’t like immigration in general, but not for everyone else.

@CopperCicada I began all my own partisanship as an Independent voter, so for me it was about the policies, not the person...and I can't claim to have always brought intelligence and caring about the health and well being of the country as a whole to the table. I confess I didn't think in this way, until I had time to really do my research. You will probably laugh at me or hate me...or some of my friends will...if I tell you that I voted for Obama Biden in 2008, and still have the souvenirs.
But even as a partisan, which I have become, I was listening to some historic clips from the time of Reagan, and they are almost identical. Chants of "Four more years! Four more years!"...all the same stuff.
And I am very, very, very tired of the rampant hatred. I am tired of being incited to hate, and I am even growing tired of myself when my anger at the stupidity we see now causes me to take my own little walk on the dark side.
So...I agree with you to a certain extent. But it's not ALL about good and evil. For me it's about really, really stupid...and really, really smart.
