What's your blood type? Donor or receiver?

I'm A + I'm not able to donate anymore since I have a thyroid condition which is annoying in some ways, it's quite nice to lay down, get poked, chill out for half an hour or so and have a nice cuppa tea and a biscuit and all whilst feeling really self righteous cause you helped someone in need 😊

O+ . Not sure what you’re asking - I can donate to any positive blood type and do donate blood. I’ve never received any.

O positive. I used to attend every blood drive in my area, until they told me my red blood count was too low and that's why I kept getting dizzy when I got up suddenly from my chair.

I lived in a place w mad cow disease in the 80’s/90’s and can’t donate blood.

A+. I've donated 15 gallons over many years.

O+ unable to donate. I need what little blood that I have. I'm under weight as is.

Never received either.

Red and I`m always hurting myself so I donate wherever it drops.

Ya know, after all the medical stuff I've been through, that seems like info I would have picked up along the way. And yet...

B positive.
I have given blood, I think it was 7 times.

"B positive (B+)", its ironic because I never tried to be positive.

I have no idea... Blood banks don't want my blood and I've never needed a transfusion.

A+, I used to give blood until I had a nurse dig for the vein, never again.

I can't donate... they don't accept B12 deficient blood.

AB positive, I can receive O, A, B, and AB. I can only donate to A, B and AB.

A neg. I used to donate all the time, just haven't lately

edit to say: 6 in every 100 people are A neg, which is probably why I'm the only one on this thread so far.

A+ I donated when I was younger, received once during an illness.

A+, but they don't want my blood, between the Tamoxifen and the insulin that I'm on.
