There are always a better way to say things, with out being rude.
The best way is to set boundaries from the beginning. So things don't get to this point. However, some don't get it. Simply ask him that you don't like it.

Try not to act like yourself.

If that person is sincerely being themselves, I tend to like weird people. If they don’t make sense to me and I can’t help them I stay away from them. But maybe you are one of lthe only persons that can tolerate them, and maybe “don’t be weird” is the best you can say… the only other thing g you can say is : ”hey stop, you’re doing it again” and when they ask “doing what?” Answer “being weird”.

as a weird guy myself, I always the definite answer of the direct approach, let's me know you're not 'my people' let's me cut it clean and move on to other endevers.

I usually justvignore them unless its actually effecting my ability to do something then im just blunt about it.
