What was the first record (showing my age lol) or CD that you ever bought??

"The Wall" of Pink Floyd. I was only 7 years old but I loved the song "Another brick in the wall" so I sacrificed my pocket money to buy their album. I was so proud when I did it and walked all the way home with a big smile on my face holding the album like a treasure in my arms. :) ;)

I used to buy 45's with God knows what money...couch money probably. I think Elton John Albums were the first ones i actually went into a store and bought by myself. before that I asked for Donny Osmond and the Beatles

It was a 45 with my allowance money. “Charlie Brown” by the Coasters.

When I graduated primary school, I received a tape recorder and promptly went out and bought my first cassette with some of the money I was gifted.


I can’t remember what my first vinyl record was that I purchased, but I think it was probably Yes - Fragile.
