"The Birds" an old Alfred Hitchcock masterpiece.

@bowman81 one of the things that makes that film so effective to me is the decision not to use any music at all in the film. There's only the cries of the birds. It makes the film very unnerving.

I think it was Hill House, which starred Vincent Price. I think I found it so terrifying because I read the book upon which it was based, callled Hell House, first, and I sort of relived the true terror conveyed by the book...which the movie missed just slightly.

@4meAndyou Thanks. I remember one being about the House of Wax, and in another he ended up in a huge vat of acid and seconds later his bones rose to the surface.

Those Price movies were more frightening than the Frankenstein and Dracula movies.

Still a big fan of The Blair Witch Project.

:) I grew up in the old Vincent Price horror movie era, boy were those movies frightening when viewed from the eyes of a nine year old. There were a few. I can’t remember the names, but should be fun to look them up and see them from the eyes of an 80 year old.

Exorcist.. I guess
The original Night Of The Living Dead from 1968. Hokey by today's standards, but it scared the living 💩 out of the public nearly 60 years ago and changed the entire zombie genre.

I always go back to wrong turn. I don't think it's the best but I really enjoy it. Others are The Terminator and Halloween.
The wedding video from my first marriage.

I like the old Universal Studio classics, the Others with Nicole Kidman was good, but most of the modern stuff is too violent and gory for my taste.
