Definitely Lord of the Rings...😷
GerOttman · 70-79, M
Azimov's Foundation trilogy. It was a long read but held my interest all the way through. I've been meaning to read it again.
SleepingWithGhosts · 46-50, M
@GerOttman I need to read those. I love his other work, they're just so damn long, and I get easily distracted, lol.
Adroneandastrain · 46-50, M
Fassbinder's BRD trilogy is my pick, which includes
The Marriage of Maria Braun
Veronika Voss
and Lola

Maybe pick the best movie from each group, remove the lessest one, and then have an all-star evening or day? :)

Lord of the rings bore me. I saw one batman movie, the most recent one and that was also meh. I've never seen back to the future.
I follow marvel quite a bit so captain America for sure

You missed the best.Batman: The Dark Knight, where Heath Ledger absolutely nailed Joker. A must watch.

@SleepingWithGhosts Those are really good as well
SleepingWithGhosts · 46-50, M
@Noah9780 The best! Followed by Star Wars episodes IV-IV. Then LOTR.
Lopaka55 · 70-79, M
@SleepingWithGhosts
You misspelled "Dark City." 🙂 The Matrix even used Dark City's sets a year later. Find the Director's Cut so the voiceover doesn't spoil the mystery for you.

Have to give a shout for the Jason Bourne series.
I know there are four movies sharing the name but Bourne as a character is only in three.
The Cornetto trilogy.
This is the Simon Pegg/Nick Frost/Edgar Wright productions.
Shaun of the dead.
Hot fuzz.
World's end.
None of them linked but creatively done on tight budgets.

Weekend at Bernie's or maybe Jackass. ..Naked Gun?
Idk really. There aren't any movie franchises that were good enough to make 3 of. If I could never have to watch the third one, I'd say Godfather. If i could throw out 2 and 3, I'd say the Matrix. 🤔but I think they made four of those, in which case, I'd toss number 4 also, however, i might keep the last one due to all the local references.
Oh shit! Pirates of the Caribbean. How many of those do they make? At least three, huh? If there are more, I'll just take the three best
