Yes .. good film if you are ok w the genre .. the Mrs was not a fan, but she likes Barry Manilow .. so take that for what it's worth
Baybreeze · 41-45, F
@SouthernGuy1987 Oh that's true, no music lol. Yes it made it very Real, as if it were in real time without music. Very creepy feel when Bardem is in a scene, he could smile eerily, or stare at one with razor hatred. He essentially made the movie what it was 🫨🙂
SouthernGuy1987 · 36-40, M
Saw it a few times and loved it ♥ Very dark, scary and suspenseful. Javier Bardem plays the psycopathic bad guy so well. Also, there's no music in the whole movie which makes it much more scary, weird, tense and suspenseful. Excellent and unique movie 🙌

I love that movie so much. It’s chilling, very suspenseful

Anton‘s hairstyle is so wrong for his face shape but that makes him more unnerving.
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
Yes but I don't remember much of it. It was many years ago. I remember that it had special atmosphere and that many dialogues made me laugh.
Tminus6453 · M
I liked it alot!..great movie
Gusman · 61-69, M
I have watched it and remember enjoying it though I cannot now remember a thing about it.
Baybreeze · 41-45, F
@Gusman it was about a guy (Josh Brolin) who finds a huge amount of money after a busted drug deal and takes it, but then wants to return it. This psycho killer (Javier Barden) is on to him, and is on a quest to follow Brolin /kill him. Interesting plot, and suspenseful.
Nitedoc · 51-55, M
It was very good.
Baybreeze · 41-45, F
@Nitedoc I did like it.
Lostpoet · M
One of my favorite movies and book
Bri89 · 36-40, M
Yes, and read the book. It's a good movie.
Thrust · 56-60, M
@Bri89

I read the book too. They were very faithful to McCarthy's original
caPnAhab · 26-30, M

Good movie.
AngelUnforgiven · 51-55, F
It was good, a bit strange but good
Saw it and didn’t get the hype
JohnnySpot · 56-60, M
@Baybreeze Its the guy's ruthless disregard for life that's most interesting.
.... And that he uses an oxygen tank as a weapon.
JohnnySpot · 56-60, M
It's not just the disregard, it's his uninterest in it.
Baybreeze · 41-45, F
@JohnnySpot Right, because psychopaths have no empathy. Like when Woody Harrelson was conveying to Brolin in the hospital, that he'd (Bardem) be *inconvenienced*. And that was very correct...I have a psychopath parent and they can't stand to be inconvenienced about Anything. It's their world, their view, and that's IT. And that's how this character was
Thrust · 56-60, M
Dark, and very good
Thrust · 56-60, M
@Baybreeze

Chigur is film's best ever psychopath
JohnnySpot · 56-60, M
@Baybreeze You are kind of like the opposite of the killer.
Baybreeze · 41-45, F
@JohnnySpot I would say that's Def accurate🌟
solitaire · 41-45, F
Was disappointed with the ending
Nitedoc · 51-55, M
@solitaire Yeah, that ending could have been left out.
Baybreeze · 41-45, F
@solitaire Same...I was waiting for the next scene and was like What??? Lol. But I do get it. Jones was saying his dream was of his dad giving him cash, but he lost it...symbolizing he couldn't get the cash irl or help save Brolin. 😕
Jimbo7 · M
Not for a long long time
