I Battle Depression and Anxiety

It is such a nightmare. Thoughts of the past constantly going through my mind. I feel weak and have no enthusiasm to do anything.

My manager told me to buy 'Rescue Remedy' but I don't really believe in it. Has anybody else tried it?

Rescue Remedy is great for when you are feeling mildly fed up or lose your temper - it calms me down nice and quickly! But it's not adequate for real clinical depression. For that, as others have said, therapy is the best advice.

I personally would go for herbal rather than homeopathic, yes I've got some in the cupboard.
Try valerian, if you buy it loose it stinks to high heaven so have it with a fruit flavoured tea bag or you can just buy tea bags that have valerian in them mixed with other things.
Any other nervine herbs will help, skullcap, vervain
Having porridge for breakfast can help as oats are a calmative and a slow release food.
Any other physical symptoms?

In addition to the excellent advice others have given here, for me I found both yoga and meditation worked wonders. It was life changing. I'm so sorry that you are facing these challenges, and hope that you find some calm and clarity on your journey. :)

Ffffffffft .. is he a doctor ?
No you need to see your doctor and be honest .
There are medications to help level things out and no they don't make you all weird just ....bring you back to being more you .

It works but it is a safety net. You'll become reliant and when that stops working you look for another solution. Personally I would try to seek out the underlying issue than turn to herbal remedies. Therapy works wonders.

What is rescue remedy, who makes it?

BTW, it is only going to perk you up and mask the symptoms.

You need to find a counselor to help you determine why you are depressed and then you won't need pills.

I wish you luck.

Never heard of it personally. I will ask around.

Happy to talk anytime if it helps.
