Yep. neuro-atypical with strong social/sexual/relationship phobia, and both demi- and sapio-sexual.
Used to be called the Autism Spectrum with Autism proper at one side and Aspergers on the other side, then it had ADHD wrapped in, then it became an over-arching ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder).
I'm apparently an 'adult aspy' and in terms of my abilities to cope with the social/sexual/relationship phobia(s) I apply 'spoon theory' to explain it.

Oh today they label everyone as that, especially kids. Kind of like how we are all supposedly obese and diabetic.
Just the medical field trying to cash in on the human condition.
Since no one seems to know what "typical or normal" really is, what even is "neurotypical" then? Some "straight A" student? Someone who devotes their entire existence to their job?
Even if we all are "neurodivergent", what do they suggest? That we all go out and get on pills, get hooked, then get labeled criminals and addicts?

neurodivergent - differing in mental or neurological function from what is considered typical or normal (frequently used with reference to autistic spectrum disorders); not neurotypical.

Everyone has to double-check their writing, even in their native language, if the writing is something important or we want it to sound intelligent.
We get used to the daily spoken version (which is often sloppy) so come time to do it precisely, we often think, "Wait, is this correct? Is it the best wording?"
sometimes I have to use Internet to double check if the sentence is correct because it doesn't make sense in my head.

I've often suspected I might be, but since I've never been diagnosed as such, I won't say that for sure.
Yes. it's not a secret.
Been on my profile for years so people know before they talk to me so they know why i'm "weird."

Idk, I have misophonia and some manageable sensory issues. If that counts... 🤷🏻♀

Not diagnosed, but I'm sure I have something.

Yes, I have dyscalculia.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
Quite possibly. Yet in a even more unique way. I'm in the 1% class. Not the 15% to 20% class.
ElwoodBlues · M
@DeWayfarer Yep, I think the 1% of people who find math easy must think differently from the middle 80%. It's a form of neurodivergence that's very much a feature not a bug.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@ElwoodBlues That's one way to think of it, yet I'm referring to the ambidextrous approach. Which I am in that 1%.
I'm into the arts and sciences.
I'm sure you have noticed me philosophizing as well making math posts

@FreeSpirit1 How does that impact you?

I don’t know what I am, if I was young today, maybe I would be called on the spectrum, but maybe I’m just a tiny bit weird and slow. I’m not as efficient as a normal adult. But I try to talk a lot and bring up interesting topics. And be kind to people and smile and have fun. So I get by.
